Well with everyone we play wearing black when black isn't even in many of these schools color scheme it keeps you guessing. Guess that's why you have to have an alternate to the alternate in this alternate world. Anyone in the know on what we will be wearing? Hopefully we have a great video release soon unless I've missed it?

Thursday afternoon is typically the uni reveal

Uniform reveals are always on Thursday evenings.
It's almost a guarantee that App will be wearing white shirts, since they are the away team. Helmets and pants could be any combination of white, yellow, or black.
The rules state that the home team must wear "dark colored" uniforms, while the away team wears "light colored" uniforms. If JMU is black, yellow would be considered "light colored." However, I don't know if App has ever worn yellow shirts to any away games.

Nobody asked, but all yellow is my least favorite combination. I'd prefer the classic black-white-black. Send a message that JMU isn't special and doesn't deserve a special uniform combo.

Easy choice: Black/White/Black for this one

Wear throwbacks to first Michigan game.

I remember in 2008 at JMU App went with the all whites which were very abnormal then, and after that game I believe I remember hearing Coach Moore say never again with that uniform combo.

I hate all-white unis too. I didn't like that App wore them last week. In fact, I dislike pretty much any monochromatic uniform for any team other than all black for teams that actually have black as a school color.

NO HELMET STRIPES!!!

I believe they'll wear the black helmets, white jerseys and white pants. They haven't worn that combo this season. It's a good look.

If JMU does a blackout with black helmets...are we able to wear black helmets? Never really paid attention to whether two teams have in the past or can wear same color helmets.

We can wear any color helmet we want. The rules only apply to the jersey.

App coined the phrase "Black Saturday." Funny to see all of these other programs copy us.
Black has been a key part of the uniform combos since Moby Dick was a minnow.

Don't mind some white in the combo...just not the stormtrooper look.

Not going to lie, I liked the icy whites in Atlanta. Normally I'm business trip but they looked good.
