Is Joey better that ZT or has he just been given more opportunity to break the record?
Different type of offense or .changes to existing offense to fit Joey and our OL to be more effective. ZT and company relied on the run. Yesterday and for a few weeks now, the run game has not been up to par... excluding Ga.St
IMO is the fact that we are not creative there. I have really looked at this for past weeks. When teams see the TE lining up between/behind Guard/Tackle...their safeties on opposite side start moving towards the line of scrimmage and their linebackers start moving in that direction. In addition, we only have 2 OLs that are good at run blocking against a team that is comparable to us. However, they all have done well in passing game.. except for one that has needed RB or TE help throughout the game with blocking. One thing I have noticed in past 2 to 3 games is that the TE and RB that stays in for blocking has been releasing more after the block in several situations. We had several RBs open for what would have been some decent yards, however Joey Dimes went with an open receiver further down the field..which he should....but that option is there if needed..
IMHO, Joey Dimes better passer. ZT better runner. Neither are bad options if you are creating a team.
Agree with what you say.
Zac ran for 504 yards and 10 TD's his sophomore year and 440 yards and 7 TD's his junior year.
Scheme/injuries changed his style his Senior year and he only ran for 312 yards and 2 TD's.
Joey has rushed for 259 yards and 2 TD's through 11 games

According to my math Joey moved to 3rd nationally in passing TD's and should be 10th in passing yards. He's phenomenal.

Has an outside chance of catching Nix depending on bowl game matchup.
Nix’s NIL deal was 1.7
Aguilar will be offered 7 figures next year. Hope he really loves Boone.

I don't want Joey to leave....but if he does then he's probably making some bank and good for him. Everyone seems to forget that Burger did beat him out to start the year. It's not like we are stuck without a QB. Obviously we want to keep Joey but no one wants to hold him back from helping himself and family out.

Once again, "Todd", you are wrong again....it is time to be selfish. We want Joey Dimes!!

13 guys have caught passes this season and 11 with 10 or more. Have we ever had 11 players with 10+ passes caught in one season?

Understood. Wasn't trying to downplay your comment, just wanted to put the official word out there. He should gain 6 or 7 more spots next week, as most in front of him don't play in Conference Championship games.

Yep makes sense. Even only going off of the regular season he's in lofty company.

Will Joey win SBC OPOY?
McCloud probably wins POY, but hopeful Joey gets the nod at OPOY. Better QB when they played no doubt.

Joey's not really that special. It's the receivers that have set all these records for him. If Burger had continued as the starter, with this receiving group, he'd have the same numbers. That should be our story line and our only story line until Joey returns to Boone for the 24 season and breaks all the records again.

Clark has been saying "Joey isn't any good" in the post game and Monday press conference. He knows what gonna happen

Those same donors that were willing to pay Clark's buyout are surely smart enough to donate the same dollars to Joey's NIL fund.
