Since 2018 after a bye App State is 9-1. That ranks tied 3rd in all of FBS.

This is a good extended break for the boys.
Im a huge stat nerd. I know ungodly amounts of app state historical stats....but how on earth do you know this AND that its tied for 3rd in all of FBS? Lol. Thats impressive
Well App12, you have obviously met your match in the historical stat knowledge.😎

I don't come on a board and not have facts to back up my defense of which I take my side. #TeamClark
And with the gambling world we live in now days - there is a web site that gives you these type of tips and such scenarios.
I’m going to believe what you say is true mainly because I don’t have the means or willingness to find the information to refute your statement. My only question is, that’s 10 byes in 4-5 years, do we have 2 byes a year? Thought it was just 1.

just reading what I found.

Not sure where else to post this but thought this was an interesting take coming from a CCU page:

He is wrong. We can beat all of them if we play well.

I was about to say the same thing. I believe we will be frustrated with inconsistency this year but I think we will play well against Coastal. I believe we win this game by 10 or more. McCall has been very average this year as well.

Clark said on Mountaineer Talk that Burger has been on a "pitch count" and will be at practice later this week, but didn't elaborate.

Also, Anderson Castle is jogging and could return for Coastal.

App really needs this game and hopefully a packed house at the Rock will help. Both teams are a little hard to read at this point but hopefully App can come out hot. Might want to bet the over again.....

I stole it from Joey Tribbiani, so I can’t take credit.

Home field advantage at the Rock on a Tuesday night will be intense. Our weeknight attendance will still be the highest attended game in-conference all season outside of our regular home games.

Night games at the Rock just hit different. I'll go 5 hrs up and 5 hrs back and not complain for a second.

Both App and Coastal are trending down. I think we will by a couple scores though. Something seems really off with Coastal and this team owes them some payback.
App was down last year but I completely disagree that this year continues that trend. There is plenty of evidence that this year's team is playing better, especially on D.

Off topic, but I am always impressed with our guys. Whether it’s Horn, Funderburk, Bucky, etc. We always have some really good dudes representing App, something we can all be proud of.

GO APPS!!

OT, in anothe thread someone saying that JMU isn't eligible for conference title this season? Or i didn't get the sarcasm.

Anyway they looked pretty darned good and get upfield extremely well on Defense, and will be a tough out at Streamersville.

Last season APP trended way down, this year we've lost when we haven't been favored and won when we have been favored. Maybe, that "trend" holds and we lose once more in conference play at JMU? I think APP is likely favored in the rest of the games except for JMU.
