This might be a hot take, but this is one of my least favorite reveal videos to date.

It's likely because we've gotten spoiled to some absolutely stellar stuff, but the ax and the 'ship' we're sinking being a paper boat and the 'coming out of water' thing that we've seen a few times now... all of it just doesn't add up for me? Again, just my personal opinion!

Regardless, the uniforms are absolute fire and as they always should be: all-black at home.

We've definitely been spoiled with some amazing vids. I appreciate the effort but this years are just OK. This week's was probably the best this year but a bit derivative of the one with Hennigan. I do think the ax was out of place, especially since it wasn't used to sink the ship. Maybe he should have used a plunger. . That would have been a funny call back (at least for me).

Use the axe to chop down a tree (a dead or dying one so as to not just chop down a healthy tree for no reason). That’s a better metaphor.

Yes, I felt very confused after watching. The hat boat was yellow, too. ECU is purple. Is he chopping up our own boat? Why would he do that?

It's not easy coming up with new content for this as we've done 3+ seasons worth of them. Not many teams do reveals though so we should at least be happy we get to look forward to different uni combo's each week. Some fan bases have been wearing the same home/away combos for 100 years. Every week is an opportunity to get the App State brand out there!

ECU is purple and “gold.” I doubt a purple paper boat would have been as visible as the yellow. Still lacking though.
