Texas State did it last year and I swore we would make them pay. We didn't. I think a couple other teams (I know CCU) did it as well and pretty sure they beat us also. My thoughts prior to last year were that Black Saturday was ours and we weren't going to let you take it. After last year, seems like about everybody is jumping on that bandwagon.

Smart for the teams that we likely travel well to. Makes it difficult to see how many App fans are in the stands.

Blackout for teams that don't wear black is annoying. We'd never do a purple out...

I'm sure the streamers will still be purple and gold/yellow.

Let's just hope we can limit the amount of times they toss them

Coastal, Texas State and Marshall all wore black at home against App last season.

Yeah, I am not a fan of borrowing other people's traditions so I agree with no to the streamers. If I were so inclined, I would push for the "We Are"..."App State" chant. I am not referencing Marshall with that but rather Penn State as the syllables and cadence work the same.
