Re: NFL Combine
Probably middle of the road. Georgia’s Edge/OLB ran a 4.44. Some will be slower than Hampton, some faster. Need to see his other testing results, hopefully had good measurable and broad and vert

This should help him. Will have to put on some weight if he wants to Edge Rush. Or learn how to cover and play OLB.

Re: NFL Combine
In my opinion the 40 is only important for the positions at the back of the defense and on the outside of the offense- defensive backs and receivers. I couldn't care less how fast a 300 lb lineman runs. I only need my linebackers to run fast for 40 yards if they are chasing someone. I'd rather have bursts, strength and tackling ability.

Re: NFL Combine
4.61/4.62 Unofficial times for Cam. Think Pass catching drills mattered more for him today than running fast.

Re: NFL Combine
If cam gets drafted late or picked up by a team with a solid line and is a rotational back, he can have a pretty good career.
They nailed him in the draft evaluation. Not exceptional at finding holes, and doesn’t switch tempo much on outside runs. With a good line his sizes and speed at full stride will be a good commodity for a well round offense.
Just hope the injury bug doesn’t stay with him. It’s hindered DE’s career and I thought he had a pretty high ceiling compared to most rb’s.

Re: NFL Combine
Read a Facebook post link that said Cam measured 6'1" and 217. I always he was closer to 6'3" and 225ish. Am I crazy?

Re: NFL Combine
Maybe these were his pro wrestling numbers and the combine found the real ones?

I forgot that guys magically grow an inch or so when they enter college. Maybe the extra weight was his freshman 15?appdaze wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 7:23 amMaybe these were his pro wrestling numbers and the combine found the real ones?

Re: NFL Combine
While it’s possible that App exaggerated his measurements, it is also plausible that he lost some weight, and I guess an inch, working out for the combine.

Re: NFL Combine
I was stunned at how SLOW the DB group was this year in aggregate. I realize many or most of these guys fit the new trend of bigger sized backs that now transcends the NFL........but these times were slower than many LBs, RBs and even Edge guys on DL.
Yes there was one than ran a 4.26 or 4.27 and a small handful in the 4.35 range as expected and a very few 4.44s. Most ran in mid 4.5s to 4.75 range which is turtle slow even for larger DBs headed for NFL draft.

KICK ASS!!!
