I'll stick to being an armchair coach. I only have to work 1 day a week and get to work from home. Pretty sweet gig

Wait, do we actually have to post if we have a job opening or not? I find that funny. Hopefully this is a State or gov't requirement.

Pretty sure if it's a "state" job it has to be posted. I think it starts internal (if there are candidates) then external

Should we just start nominating Cabin posters?
That might help narrow down the talent pool a bit.

It doesn't say what level of coaching experience is required. Just says two years.

Also:
Physical Demands of Position
This position will be subject to outside environmental conditions. Weekend work is required. Must be able to work long hours.

Aren’t all hours the same length?

And can't get fired and seldom receive criticism on here. Everyone gets to diss players and coaches without consequences.

What consequences do you propose for people expressing an opinion?

I need to know one thing before I take the job. If we are only beating Gardner Webb by 10 points after the first quarter next year am I getting fired?

Not a big deal, but I think we go too far sometimes. Players, coaches, recruits, fans read this boiard...as they should.

Happy to see stuff like this. Looks like we are making a commitment to the program and Coach Clark.

It is probably a backfill from losing Henry Stone.

It definitely is. It's also only posted because it's required to be. Would not be surprised if they already have someone in mind.

How can those consequences be worse than being responded to ad nauseum by the Smile Committee?

So why do you take umbrage with those who aren’t wallowing in despair and loathing? No one is making you come here and participate.

Your posts always cut deeper and hard to debate.

I would, but then it would take away something for us to criticize, and that would be inconsiderate of me.
