I think Armanti's 14/16 for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns with 31 rushes for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns out paces any game I have seen by anyone against a peer opponent nor ever will see.

I still remember watching the draft and seeing the Panthers trade up for AE. I'm trying to remain a diehard fan (it's difficult) and when they pulled this move I was actually a little sick because I really didn't see AE transitioning to an NFL receiver and knew full well he would not get a shot at QB. The consensus was that AE could have easily dropped to probably the 5th round at best and the pressure to live up to the trade would not have been as strong. I loved the guy but that trade was stupid

From what I've been told, the Patriots were planning on taking AE before Panthers next pick so they traded ahead to make sure they got him.

Since AE wasn't there, Patriots eventually drafted Edelman to play the role they wanted AE in. Worked out.
