Single game category. Richie when he went like 45 for 48 and the Villanova Dude in the playoff game.
Am I missing one here? Did you mean the FU game when Richie passed for 40/45 instead?

Ok...my bad I'm clarifying my own misread.
You meant when Richie Williams passed for 40 of 45 vs FU in '04. And the opponent beat down on us in the 2010 playoff vs Villanova when Szczur killed us.
I think Armanti's 14/16 for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns with 31 rushes for 313 yards and 4 touchdowns out paces any game I have seen by anyone against a peer opponent nor ever will see.

Clayton Deskins, Calvin Simon, Emmitt Hamilton although they didn't make it to the NFL. Dino Hackett who played over a decade in the NFL.

Disclaimer: never saw DC play. But my vote goes to AE. The dude was a magician. I still contend that he did not get a fair shot in the NFL. He did not fit the traditional mold of a NFL QB at the time, but that mold is different now. 10k yds passing and 4K yds rushing in his career… watching him was amazing

Hand proved it by staying in the NFL about 12 or 13 years.

Not football, but J'Den Cox wrestled for Mizzou in Varsity Gym against App. He went on to get a Bronze Medal in the 2016 Olympics and won multiple World Championships.
That ain't nothin', I saw Dusty Rhodes - The American Dream and other, and Ric Flair rastle in Varisty Gym in 1986! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I still remember watching the draft and seeing the Panthers trade up for AE. I'm trying to remain a diehard fan (it's difficult) and when they pulled this move I was actually a little sick because I really didn't see AE transitioning to an NFL receiver and knew full well he would not get a shot at QB. The consensus was that AE could have easily dropped to probably the 5th round at best and the pressure to live up to the trade would not have been as strong. I loved the guy but that trade was stupid

From what I've been told, the Patriots were planning on taking AE before Panthers next pick so they traded ahead to make sure they got him.

Since AE wasn't there, Patriots eventually drafted Edelman to play the role they wanted AE in. Worked out.

Did Cleveland give him a fair shot? If they didn't then add Cleveland to the hate list.

Anybody know if there's a video link of Dexter Coakley's speech at the recent Legends Gala? I've seen the recap but I'd love to see his entire speech.
