What concerns me the most (after QB), is OL. Looks like we lost and entire offensive line ( I know some did not start) and we only have 2 new o-linemen.
That said, I am confident the staff knows what we have in line for the tackle position that we have not seen yet. We are thin there for sure and will probably grab a couple more guys there via transfer portal after spring ball.

Lately, I’ve chosen to give to ASU educational programs rather than athletics. When the NCAA reels in the NIL deals and straightens out this transfer portal, I’ll give a portion to athletics again.

I'd like to see a list of NILs for APP Football, I have no clue as to where that stands but my guess it's closer to being slim and rank in the have nots rather than what we'd hope. Give the middle finger to the NCAA rather than your alma mater.

I sit on a foundation that grants funds to worthy causes that support one of four core beliefs of our company. If a charity doesn’t spend funds in accordance with our policy we don’t contribute to them.
Everyone has the right to give where they choose and college athletics have shifted from its previously stated causes. I’ve not stopped giving, but I can understand why some would if we continue down this path.

Yes. He was having issues with transfer credits so he needs to finish at A&M and then he will be here as a Grad transfer.

Re: Spring Ball
This is quite literally the opposite of what you should do. The school doesn't have anything to do with NIL, in App's case. All that coin you stopped giving just stopped. There is an App NIL Collective you could give to as well but you're not hurting anyone but the team you claim to support.Cro-Magnon App wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 9:22 amLately, I’ve chosen to give to ASU educational programs rather than athletics. I do not know the OP...but have they said they have given less to App. St. overall? If someone wants to give disposable income to academics vs athletics. Their choice. .and glad they are giving back to school in some form or fashion.ericsaid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 3:42 pmThis is quite literally the opposite of what you should do. Re: Spring Ball
Technically speaking, App can’t get involved in NIL outside of speaking in generalities and working with donors to promote the need. The reality is that outside of pocket money for the athletes, there isn’t much opportunity for a huge payday on the mountain.

Re: Spring Ball
Nobody should criticize anyone giving in any form to the university. All forms of contribution to App State is good. Everyone has their reasons for how and why they give and that should be their business, not mine.

If shade is going to be thrown anyone's way, throw it at those who don't give anything to App.

This is the dumbest thing. TAMU is a good school. I’m sure if he was transferring to unc there wouldn’t be a problem.

Re: Spring Ball
So, they couldn't work with a third party like most Universities and do things, such as signings, and video messages? When I asked, I was told they did not have the infrastructure, currently.
