I get the frustration but all of this is short term and explained to some degree here in the past. We are losing lots and will be down parking options until the new deck at Holmes is finished. Once that deck is done, that will add 600 spaces that were lost last year and then some.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 1:39 pmThis is the first I am hearing about the $1,500 parking minimum. WOW. I am slightly peeved at the moment. People should be asking these important questions to the Yosef club and not wondering about a damn escalator from greenwood every time there is a YC zoom call.
The previous messaging was that you must donate the required amount to stay at the same parking. I donated extra then necessary to get that, but I am nowhere near $1,500 in donations. Half of that to be exact. I guess they want people to donate all they can and then decide who is worthy? This was not what I had in mind when I wanted the YC to push for more donations...

Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
In talking with Yosef Club today, it sounds like if you give the minimum for what your current parking spot is, you should be good. However, the $1,5000 mark is for new Yosef Club members trying to get parking.
That said, they also told me if they get an influx of higher donations, things may change... As crappy as it is, it's a good problem to have for the overall foundation of App State athletics.

AppStateNews.....that info certainly provides some clarity. Glad to know current Yosef Club members will not have to donate $1,500 to ensure a parking spot this upcoming season.

We have handicapped seats and were grandfathered in to our current giving level. I'm not sure how long this will last.

That was my understanding also. Some of us at not quite that level will need to rely on priority points.

Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
That is not guaranteed though. It all depends on how many current Yosef Club members renew and how many new memberships we get. As of today when talking to them on the phone, it's not going that direction. But, that could change overnight...appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 2:17 pmAppStateNews.....that info certainly provides some clarity. Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
Does anyone know if there will be an opportunity to express a preference for one lot over another if there's more than one at your donation level?
Last year I requested and was placed in Legends even though my donation qualified me for a couple higher-level ones. Obviously I won't be parking there this year. Assuming I do get parking, though, I definitely would prefer Library over Rivers St., for example.

Seems like last year it was almost June before they asked about lot assignments. It'll be a shuffle again this year with the new Moutaineer lot coming on.

Have you renewed your donation and season tickets? I believe that when you renew your season tickets, there is a text box for parking requests.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 4:27 pmDoes anyone know if there will be an opportunity to express a preference for one lot over another if there's more than one at your donation level?

Maybe so they can donate at their current level (<$1500) and not be bumped by a brand-new donor at that level?appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 5:24 pmWhy?appgrad2010 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 2:17 pmAppStateNews.....that info certainly provides some clarity. Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
Per my rankings, last year there were 9400 members (there were 6000 at some point during the football season, I'm not sure if they added Student Yosef members to that total.)
As of this evening, there are 1859 for this year. Obviously, we are early in the process and that number will rise with Season Ticket renewals. The Darius Rucker pre-sale deadline on 2/23 may influence that.

There is a text box, but that is not the official form. When you receive the email with your "2023 Yosef Club Transaction Confirmation"AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 4:56 pmHave you renewed your donation and season tickets? Thanks. I didn’t read the whole sheet. I’m not moving so I stopped at the text box.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 9:41 pmThere is a text box, but that is not the official form. I missed it when they first sent the email. Fortunately, I was reading this thread tonight and went back and found it.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 9:49 pmThanks. I didn’t read the whole sheet. Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
Just got off phone and was told the $1500 amount was required for parking. After being PERSISENT she left phone to double check and came back to say I was correct that my current level would qualify for parking. Thank you Cabin members for clarification or there would have been one less Yosef member and season ticket holder after 20 years.

Just asking, but you would quit donating and buying season tickets over the loss of parking?dlh71 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 11:02 amJust got off phone and was told the $1500 amount was required for parking. Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
Thank you. I did recently renew my tickets and pay the full YC donation necessary for parking, but I didn't see any text box or that line you copied. Guess I should expect to hear from YC at some point.WASU 93 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 9:41 pmThere is a text box, but that is not the official form. Re: Renewing Season Football Tickets
It's kind of interesting people's take on the possibility of losing parking and the thought of dropping YC and season ticket's over it. I'd be curious to find out their solution to solve the problem. There are a certain number of parking spots and more people than spots available. What is your suggestion on who gets a spot and who doesn't?
Has anyone bought eggs lately? Prices are way up because there is a shortage of eggs. It doesn't matter that you have bought a dozen eggs every week for the past 10 years. There aren't enough eggs available to satisfy the demand, so prices are higher now.
