I hate to think that I might pull for CCU. Just the thought makes me want to gag. However, seeing a bunch of ECU fans whine on Twitter about having to play CCU and SBC being inferior.

I think it's yet to be determined, but, both CCU and JMU have gotten under my skin this year. JMU fans have reminded me of why I always hated their arrogant, obnoxious, entitled asses. Can't wait to watch both go through coaching changes.

I think it's pretty cool that we not only have GSU in conference rival but now also JMU and Marshall in the East along with CCU.
On the west side Troy and Louisiana.
I don't mind hating everyone and everyone in conference hating us.
It only sucks when you lose them.
We will have to be stacked every year to win the conference title and even more so to run the table on this bunch. We haven't gone 8-0 in conference since joined even before this murderers row of games in the east if we can call it that.

Agrees to my list. Marshall was the team to beat when I was at App. Coastal needs more time and history to get close to Stink....but their small fanbase are making me hate them more by the hour...

Any good App State hate list has to have room for Furman even though we don't see them anymore. Hate doesn't die, and Furman Still Sucks.

Marsha has always been near the top of my list until I went to Huntington for the first time ever several weeks ago. They have to be some of the nicest fans in the country. It wasn't like that in the mid to late 80s when I was at App. I was friends with a lot of the football team and they told me to stay the hell away from Marsha unless I wanted to get into a fight up there with their A$$hole fans. Glad it's different now.

The Stink is my #1 hate place and Coastal is #1 1/2 after this past game there.

The Sunbelt East has the best rivals of any conference. It is cool to be Georgia Southern's number one rival. Actually, we have played them more than anyone else in the sunbelt currently.

Remember this season only hurts, because we care.

I think it depends on if they stay good. Rivalries are really only good if both teams are good. If their coaching change doesn’t go well and we win the next four or five, they’ll quickly fall down the list of rivals.

The loss to GS this year hurt much worse than CCU's.

CCU is still behind GS, Marshall, JMU, and even ULL and Troy (1-AA and SBC years) for me.

CCU is definitely a rival now, but it will take a while before they overtake GS. Both of those losses hurt because we should have won both. shoulda, woulda, coulda....doesn't count unfortunately.

I’ve lived in Savannah for the past year+. I can vouch that the Stinkers hate us with passion. I’ll catch everything from a fun jest to “F*** CrApp State” just about any time I wear an App T or hat outside the house. It’s fun, sign of a true rivalry. Honestly it’s the 2nd best G5 rivalry after the Commander in Chief.
