Look at our d lines the past 2 season and tell me what you think. We always stopped the run (including this year) and we put pressure on the qb in passing situations and we sent a guy to the league. Yeah, I'd say he was just fine at coaching college kids.

I honestly wouldn't say he struggled. He got a lot of pressure, but just couldn't finish the job. A lot of that I believe is due to over thinking technique over just playing, but I could be wrong.

I was just simply pointing out Meech did not thrive under Nunn like someone on here said. His numbers actually regressed a little. Probably not tied directly to Nunn.

I wasnt aware of his ties to Jones, but that would make sense as a factor. My point on the TA&M game was that we generated pressure, and in a 3-4, the linebackers were the drive behind that. I felt the DL played well in conjunction with the LB schemes to help that pressure. Clogged the middle and forced the edges.

Bingo. I'm having a hard time coming up with anyone other than Earle that noticeably improved under Nunn.

One thing I do miss about iveys lines vs nunn is their junkyard mentality. I mean they played aggressive and mean

It may not take too much of an offering plate to get both...

What's interesting is our defensive line was great against the run. There were so many times on 3rd and short where they stopped the back behind the line, that I wasn’t surprised when it happened.
