Pretty good track record. Spending 4-5 years at UGA while Kirby Smart was building that fine tuned machine is definitely a plus. He's probably seen it all and knows the ins and outs of recruiting.

Very Good

S&C + OL hirings = Gritty, Toughness, on-field improvement

GM hiring = Attention to detail, oversight, roster management improvement

It’s an investment in the future of the program. It another qualified person to handle some of the responsibilities of a short staffed program. To Doug and Sheri’s credit, they listened to the issues and are responding with action. Whether it works, we shall see. But action with the intent to be better, is better than no action.

So the budget was upped?

It would appear so. There will be more changes forthcoming that will shed some light on how much.

Yes. Salary pool was increased.

How is this any different than Lance Ware?

Would think he will take over a position?

Why do I keep hearing that Foreigner "Urgent" song in my head?

Can someone say DC before recruiting ends?

Anything done prior to next weeks AFCA meetings would be considered timely.

I don't think this is the same position that Ware holds.

Isn’t this similar to the position Andrew Blaylock held a couple years back? Before taking the job at UCF.

Sounds like a great addition!

I really like this hire. I never had any doubt SC has his heart and soul invested in this program and its success. My concern has been that as a first time head coach was that he needs to work more judiciously and efficiently vs work more hours (which is not sustainable and often the first tendency of lesser experienced people in any field when things get tough). My observation was that he really looked tired as the season progressed so I figured he was working a lot of hours and getting little sleep. This move should allow him to focus on big picture and spread the load more for lesser things. I assume this guy will be like a COO so the CEO can focus on big picture.

This roster management hire is HUGE! With the portal and NIL going on, P5 programs have a whole department of bodies working on this constantly; that's all they do. For a G5 to recognize we need to get on the train with this concept, even though smaller in set up, is an important recognition we are out to master it and set the standard for the evolving concept. Such new territory, new ground being tilled, I'm just happy to see we aren't standing back a gawking. APP is taking the bull by the horns and going after it. Grit baby, grit!

S&C hire is through the roof on point. We've been missing what Iron Mike was doing for a while. This was a critical and one hell of a smart hire as well. Greenhaulgh will bring it! Love having him back and now in charge.

Proud, as always, to be a MOUNTAINEER!

Since we can’t afford a saban sized staff, I’m glad we’re putting an emphasis on quality over quantity. Which is sometimes a hard concept at a university..
