This sort of App. State football is unacceptable. We make dumb decision after dumb decision and can't get out of our own way. Time to make the change Doug before it's too late.

I think the A&M win gives him one more season
not my choice, but I think that's what will happen

Win or lose. Bowl or no bowl. I agree.

I know we can’t afford to fire Clark but I’ve finally realized he’s in over his head

He has a Ferrari and is driving it like a Honda. Good OL coach, but not a head coach. Let's go Doug.

"The termination without cause clause was also adjusted. Should Clark be fired without cause before Dec. 1, 2022, the school will pay him $5 million, which then drops to $3 million, $1 million, $500,000 and $250,000 in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, respectively. The only change in the numbers was a drop from $1.5 million to $1 million in the third year.
The changes to the termination without cause clause were also used for the termination by coach clause, should Clark leave before the extension runs out."
We don't have the money to get rid of coach Cluck.
We can't pony up 5 million right now. If we wait until December 2nd 2023 it will drop to a 1 million dollar payout which we will probably pull the trigger on if we have a repeat of this year.
We are stuck with the Cluck for another year unless y'all want to donate a lot fo money.

If he is retained no more season tickets. If Gillen doesn’t care, I don’t either.

We have more talent than anyone in the conference and we keep getting worse. How you think it’s going to look next year? 3-4 win ceiling with Clark.

It is hard to watch glaring mistakes game after game and not feel that we could be doing much better with a different coach. This is what happens when our school values finding someone who will stay at App State over finding the best possible coach that is available. I don't think we will fire him and I hope he has learned this season and doesn't make the same mistakes next year.

It’s not even like we are bad. We don’t have an identity any more. Our D is atrocious, we’ve been known for special teams, atrocious, our offense is painful to watch. Substitutions are terrible. Too many penalties this year.
4 1A wins this year. We are close to being irrelevant. All it will take is one more season like this.

Let's talk about the extension he got after last season. Clark was a lazy hire in 2019, the extension after last season was inexcusable.

I want to know how low it has to be until the boot lickers are frustrated. I assumed that 4 FBS wins and not bowl eligible would do it. But apparently people want it to be worse.

Hope everyone in here advocating for a firing has their wallets ready to donate to the Yosef club. Put your money where your mouths are.

I've been watching App State Football for a long time. I've never seen more dysfunction in Boone than I have this season. Every game we lost, we were outcoached. The sad part about it is, we had superior talent than every team we played (maybe except the secondary). Satterfield left a brand new Ferrari, that Clark has driven into the ditch. I gave Clark every benefit of a doubt being a fellow Mountaineer. However, I have seen through the progression of this season that he is in over his head. First bowl loss, no outright conference championship, 1-2 vs. Coastal. We lack in game adjustments and intensity. Ultimately, this is all on him.
