LOL. Most players think they can make it or at least don't want to have the regret. Never know what they are thinking.bcoach wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 7:57 pmI don't think you will need to advise him on that.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 7:35 pmThat is a huge issue, if true. I would advise Joey to not even waste his time trying the NFL after the season if he is that hard headed. SMH.ASUTodd wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 7:17 pmIt was in one of the pressers he did. Unless I totally misunderstood what he was saying. I don't remember if it was a post game presser, mountaineer talk, or pregame. I'll see if I can find it.

The good Joey is very good. The bad Joey , a liability. We need consistency like our winning years in the past. I’m good with him moving on. My view.

Not towards anyone directly, but where I’m at:
App football season is over. It’s basketball season. Let’s beat Wisconsin.

TEAM over self EVERY single time!!bcoach wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 3:32 pmWe need a new QB. Passing records mean absolutly nothing when you lose the games. The only record I am interested in is win loss.ASUTodd wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 3:13 pmIncluding the record for interceptions. Joey is awesome when he realizes he can tuck the ball and run, throw it out of bounds, or has enough time to make his reads (he takes his time sometimes). Clark has even said that Joey goes to the line with who he is throwing to already picked out and is going to throw to that person regardless. He's got a big arm and a lot of guts.....but his decision making this year has been abysmal at times.t4pizza wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 12:49 pmI haven't read the actual lawsuit but based on articles that I have read, it seems like the issue is the NCAA limiting Jr. College players to less than 4 years of NCAA eligibility. I don't think it has anything to do with covid waivers (could be wrong though). It actually makes sense and could have legs. The NCAA has no authority over Jr. College athletes whatsoever, so why should they be able to limit how many years they could play in the NCAA after they leave Jr. College. I would have said no way this would fly several years ago, but nowadays it may just work. Part of the allegation is that the limitation on Jr. College players eligibility prohibits their ability to collect NIL. Again, I haven't actually read the complaint, but I think it could have legs. If so, Joey would have 2 more years of eligibility, he would rewrite every passing record in App history if that were the case.

Some of this is Joey is constantly under pressure...terrible off line...receivers are not getting separation whatsoever...and they always are playing from behind. I think it's starting to get to Joey mentally

We shouldn’t have a hard time finding future OOC opponents anymore.
The committee is showing that record is the only thing that matters. AKA, no reason to schedule difficult games for the P4 teams with this current format.

“If it was about strength of schedule, the rankings would probably look much different. The teams can only play the games in front of them.”

Maybe we should cancel our Boise and Oregon State series and schedule Bishop Sycamore and Watauga High?
