That's a great idea! That is if they serve adult beverages...

My wife is from the UK and says that showing games at theaters (live) is common there. This is a great idea. With all the struggles the theaters have having these days, this could be a big money maker. Set a few theaters aside for game days and broadcast the games live.

This a great idea. Boone theatre should do this for away games and advertise it.as well as athletics department...get students involved... App....State chants in the theatre would be great ...and serve alcohol for medicinal purposes and the draw to get students to show. .

The only possible issue I see is they probably can't charge admission - they would have to rely on concessions and alcohol sales only.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 7:29 amMy wife is from the UK and says that showing games at theaters (live) is common there. i wonder if ESPN or Texas State are even aware? i think this is great but was wondering if they are cutting ESPN on the take even if that is only food. disney is not known for being lax of rights enforcement.appbanker wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:42 amThe only possible issue I see is they probably can't charge admission - they would have to rely on concessions and alcohol sales only.Yosef84 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 7:29 amMy wife is from the UK and says that showing games at theaters (live) is common there. I will send you a PM. I am currently working with the Alumni Administration to get the Hickory chapter back up and running. COVID devastated it by no one getting together. We need everyone we can get to attend events and get it back strong. Thanksappalum2003 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 7:31 pmgreat idea - makes me wonder if we could start something like this in Hickory

I bet that was a quiet theater tonight. Still a good idea though.
