I was in Raleigh for parents weekend at State. Had to watch on my phone. Should have found a big screen somewhere.
I was also in Raleigh for parents weekend and probably did the worst thing I could do. Wore an NCSU cap to the game. That cost us, I know it did and I am sorry.

Forgot to turn on my yellow game lights Friday nite to alert my neighbors it was App Football Saturday.

I love my App football jersey but after wearing it to the tarhole and JMU games I guess it will now just get worn around the house and not on game days. Wore my new Nike Dri Fit polo to the Troy game so I guess it will be worn for the rest of the year even if I have to wear some cold weather gear under it!

My bad as well. Wore my App cap but wore a NC State Dad shirt. We are both to blame

I didn’t have any alcohol during this game as I was watching my 1 year old daughter. Can’t remember the last game I haven’t had any. Can’t let this happen again.

It was karma for the guy a couple rows in front of us yelling "welcome to big boy football" at JMU's bench when we had the lead.
I heard that. Section 111 right? What an asshat.

For reasons somewhat out of my control I was running late getting out the door to head up mountain. Grabbed first App shirt I saw in drawer, forgetting it was Black Saturday. I wore a white “Head for the mountains of Boone” shirt. My first time ever not wearing black on black Saturday. I apologize profusely and take complete responsibility for the loss.

I had my lucky koozie with me but was at a family reunion and didn't have anything to put in it. I'm sorry

We had a guy in our group that had not been to KBS since 1980! Hopefully it will be another 42 years before he returns!

My buddy who has parked beside me at tailgate for 20 years for some unknown reason parked in my spot. I told him he needed to move his truck then let it go and parked in his.

It was his fault. We are no longer friends. I'll miss him.

Your former buddy probably got fired from his job Monday because of that. Guarantee that was his fault

In addition to wearing a white shirt on Black Saturday I spoke to a JMU fan sliding by me to leave when it was 28-3. I said “It’s not over”. He, not looking too happy said “Yes, it pretty much is”. I apologize for encouraging him to stay and not saying something like “Yeah, we’re skull dragging you guys”. I apologize again for our loss.

I appreciate everyone coming clean here. It makes it easier for me to admit that I wore a new T-shirt. I love the shirt, but obviously it can never be worn on game day again since it obviously contains no mojo. Also, my wife didn't even put on her colors and watched the game in her pajamas. This can never happen again. I also think I dried off with a yellow towel instead of my traditional black game day towel.

I'm sorry. I feel better getting this off my chest.
