For the first time in school history, all 11,000 season tickets sold! Whatever they're doing in the Dept is working wonders.

Great news from a money standpoint. I'm still worried we're going to have some very low attended games this year due to the fact I'm sure a lot of people bought them to ensure Chapel Hill tickets.
Interesting economics discussion anyway.

We didn’t have a problem filling it up last year.

So if someone purchased a season ticket mainly for that game on average how much did they pay?

The season ticket was $250, are you asking in terms of donations?

I'm pretty sure the minimum would be $350 ($250 per ticket, plus at least $100 YC donation).

When I got my two season tickets, they only had availability for the $250 and $500 YC donation. Seems like the $100 spots went fast.

I wonder how many spots of each they had available. It's a probably a few million for Yosef Club to say the least, on top of the $2.75 mil for the tix.

True, but I think he's speaking to the fact that many of these season ticket holders are first time holders. Will they keep that energy after the UNC game? A lot of the filling up last year was a result of single game tickets.
Beating ECU and losing to Miami by a close margin helped. I think Marshall at home helped. Also Coastal coming to Boone as a ranked team, night game on ESPN helped. Doubt we see the crowd we did if Coastal is a one or two win the heading to that game. Especially after the ass beating put on us by Louisiana the week before.
If we beat UNC and keep A&M reasonable, I could see some of those that bought season tickets returning for a few more games this year. However if UNC and A&M put a 2021 Louisiana part 1 or a 2016 watch the wheel route Miami type ass whooping on us, I just don't think you'll see all 11,000 return, nor will you see the desire from others to replace those empty seats.

We’ll see what the ticket exchange thread looks like. We picked up 4,000 new season ticket sold. It’s possible that some of those may be Carolina fans. I don’t know how many that may be and I know they tried to vett them out. I just don’t think that it will be a huge issue outside of Georgia St (weeknight) and Troy (may be one people sit out due to being before JMU and Family Weekend). I bought two extra ST and have sold three of the games already.

The Citadel game might be a below normal crowd. It is family w/e which might help but after making trips to boone 3 of 4 weekends to start the season that may be the game I miss as a season ticket holder.

Step 1 - get them in.
Step 2 - retain them.
Checked the box on Step 1. Everything about this is good.

I honestly didn't even notice the schedule was laid out that way until you said that. That's going to be a hard sell for most families. I'll still probably do it, but that's a tall task for anybody farther than an hour or so out.

There are a lot of parents that would probably buy those tickets off of you. Three weeks in a row is a tall task for even the diehards.

I am always torn, hit the ticket exchange on here to help someone that might have a kid's soccer game or football game to attend, or buy single game tickets so that the university gets additional money.
Anyone here willing to sell just their parking pass for games they can't attend?
