Football Parking 2022

When I got help from them on Monday for my account access problem, they told me I'd have the parking assignment by the end of the week. I haven't received anything so far. I empathize with them, but we've known this game was coming for several years now.

Not a construction guy but I bet the construction is throwing off the available spots that they had planned on having available. That being said....some Chapel Hill people are going to lose their mind when they try to find parking. I assume the tickets alloted to UNC did not include parking. The parking pass may be worth more than 4 tickets to the game by game week.

Actually that does make me wonder. Are these hourly employees or salaried employees who are responsible for this duty? If hourly, all of this makes a lot more sense because they only have a certain amount of hours to finish it. If salaried, deadlines mean something and you complete the job that was promised regardless of hours.

I mean, it isn’t like this snafu is keeping anyone from getting parking as it is the wanting to know where they are parking. From what I can glean from my conversations is that the parking assignments have been settled. If so, it shouldn’t preclude the physical distribution of the passes. We still have a month before the season.

I'm not worried about finding out about my parking but I think some of those who have expressed concern are folks who were told that it would be posted by a certain date and then it isn't. In several cases, it seems that different folks were told different things.

That's true, I just don't understand why they keep telling people specific dates that they can't/don't meet, over and over and over again. From the beginning, say parking passes and assignments will be mailed and on the accounts by 8/15 and no one would bat an eye and we'll all be happy.

It's like they don't expect what they say to one person to spread to multiple people.

And let's not forget this still exists on the active 2022 Yosef Club page.

Right...under promise and over deliver. First rule of telling wait times in restaurants or doctor's offices etc. If they said it would be done by 8/1 and it's 8/2 people are mad; if they say 8/15, and it's 8/10, people are happy it's early, even though the actual date is later.

My rep said I'm in my same spot, but it is slightly anxiety provoking until I physically have the passes and see that it's so, especially given what happened to some last year, and the construction, and increased STH, etc. I know some people that are trying to plan and coordinate big tailgates for UNC and have family coming in from out of town, which makes it extra stressful.

I get the having the passes in hand. I had them hand deliver my tickets and passes to me in Miami last year.

You should see “Yosef Parking”. Click on that it should take you to a page that says Ticket Information. That will show you your space.
