I called yesterday. They said they are in the process of "loading" parking information in the system now. Should be over the next week and they will be complete. Email for season tickets for download within the next two weeks.

It was just over a full week ago that AppBanker started this thread to let us know that he found his parking assignment on the MAF site and kindly shared with us specific directions for us to find ours. Then...suddenly...it was a mere mirage in the great App State desert. There were plenty of Black & Gold unicorns there, but no parking information.

It would take a pretty serious Paciolan code snafu to require a week plus to fix. Fasten your seatbelts.Hopefully they'll get "all of the cats herded" (so to speak) soon. I suspect the staff is as disappointed and up-tight about this delay as some of us are.

I'll be very cautiously optimistic. I feel like I'm becoming the board grinch but we got the "it'll be there next week" workaround for about 2 months last year.

So I called YC last week and flat out asked if I had a parking spot. So I would call tomorrow. It has yet to show up in my account as well. But I got confirmation from them.

Looking like we may be getting the same next week in perpetuity treatment as last year. I haven't seen anything yet. If they show up tomorrow or Friday I guess I'll take it back but technically "over the next week" mentioned on last Wednesday would indicate they'd be in there by today.

I called this week and was told they needed to get through the single game tickets sales then they would post parking. I know my spot will be different this year and that creates some angst for me. Was looking for a reason to go to Boone, scope out the parking and get some good local grub while I'm there. That is all!

They have also added more than 2000 new accounts into the MAF website. It’s approaching 6k YC members. I am curious as to where all of these new members have come from. Are they adding SYC, Carolina folks (maybe some but probably not many). Inquiring minds want to know.

When I spoke to them, they seemed almost frustrated. Or perhaps busy. Gave no reason for delays. I am sure this is the busiest lead-up to a season they have seen. I get it. Time is getting short. I still remain hopeful….

I don’t know why they continue to paint themselves into a corner by setting expectations with definitive dates. Just say, “It’s been a monumental task and we are aiming for the 1st, but hope to have it resolved by EOW next week.” People will understand and appreciate the effort if they hear honesty. Just my opinion.

I wonder if it has to do with the Facilities Department. I walked through Peacock lot on Wednesday and part of the lot is under construction, plus there is construction equipment parked in the lot.

Hypothetically, if Facilities tells Athletics that there will be XXX number of spaces available in Peacock (or elsewhere), Athletics assigns those spaces. If Facilities comes back later and reduces that number, then the whole deck of cards (parking spaces) gets shuffled. Since Peacock is at the higher end of the pecking order, everything would flow down hill with reassignments.

I could be totally off on this speculation, but it might explain why this has been an on-going issue.

As you mentioned, a little transparency/communications could go a long way.

Does anyone have any information as to how many spots are available in each lot? I may have to play a counting game next time I'm up there.
