“I-321” made my drive MUCH better and quicker.

I understand the 3:30 kickoff times as it serves the best interests of most of our fans but like bcoach, those us who live 3+ hours away do appreciate when on occasion there are earlier kickoffs. The late night drives are a lot more difficult for those of us in our 70s and beyond.
Can you imagine having to do those drives on a two lane 421 or I40 through downtown WS? No thank you.
Sure can imagine it as I have many times. Love me some bypass.
From the eastern half we would go through downtown Raleigh, out 70 past the Angus Barn, through Durham, then 40 got us past Burlington and G'boro but uptown in Winston-Salem and 2 laned it from there to Boone. Damn I was young then...and not so young now!

So tailgating will involve huevos rancheros instead of hot dogs? I'm down.

Just remember: whether the game starts at noon, 3:30pm or 7pm...day drinking will still be involved.
Acts 2:15 says "These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!"

For me it was either 401 to Lillington onto 421, or 87 through Spring Lake to Sanford to pick up 421.

Easy there, cowboy. What you're quoting and what I referenced are definitely apples and oranges!

This triggered me to think Neese’s, Pepsi and any other sacred southern brand that you want to through in there.

I have a friend who is a LONG time rams club member. (Since 1975) He got away ticket info last week. ASU game is $150 a pop most expensive game on the schedule. Followed by Notre Dame at $90. Said they will be watching from home. I told him I would text him some touchdown pics. All ASU touchdowns of course.

That should get the Chapel Hill fans begging to come back to the Rock. (Sarcasm)

Just wondering - Think ESPN can/will change their mind about the game time? I feel once the game is an official sellout maybe the powers to be see it and give a better time slot? I would think viewership would be really good regionally in (NC SC VA)

Just wishful thinking I guess

Personally, I believe that they were anticipating a sell-out given our size stadium and probably talking to both schools, etc. However, I am not in the TV game. I guess it could happen.

I would not eliminate the possibility that noon was our preference due to logistical issues with hiring extra security and traffic control.
