Graduations
I saw several tweets from players who participated in graduation ceremonies or acknowledged and celebrated their graduation. None were more excited than Peoples and it just made me smile and be happy for all these young men.

Re: Graduations
All I know is we have a glorious 2-3 week run here in Boone with few students, few tourists, no traffic and great weather.

Re: Graduations
Those were the best days. But all summer classes were pretty good too.
I just had to go to the UNCCH football stadium for graduation and we must have moved the Boone weather down there for Sunday morning, I'm getting old, it was cold.

Re: Graduations
Well I did not confirm any athletes were there. My brother in law graduated but he wasn’t an athlete. Though was on full scholarship and double majored with a minor, which beats my college career ( or maybe my 5.5 years was actually the true winner).Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 4:29 pmThey make kids go to graduation but not class, strange.

Re: Graduations
Does App honor prior graduating classes at graduation? I graduated in December '93 and don't remember. My in-laws graduated from UNC in 1970 so their 50th anniversary was in 2020 and the festivities were cancelled. They, along with the class of 1972, were honored during the graduation on Sunday. My understanding is that this is a tradition at UNC. My father-in-law told me about it and got choked up. After everyone was seated, including graduates, the two classes marched in from the tunnel and were applauded as they marched to music of their time at UNC, chosen by them. They marched around the field and then back out of the stadium. It was obviously very meaningful to him, and the other alumni, I'm sure. We can say what we will about UNC but that is a cool tradition. There was also a plethora of weekend activities for their class.

I did find that interesting when I was there. Never heard of that anywhere else that I know of.goapps93 wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 11:25 amDoes App honor prior graduating classes at graduation?
