they could charge 2 bills for the UNC game and still sell out so maybe that still applies.
Oh the game will sell out, no question. I just question the precedent going forward. ECU in 2023 will certainly be $150. But after that, there's no game you could logically charge that much for until UofSC, if that even happens, a decade from now.

IMO, $100 would have been fine. I think $150 might hurt later attendance in the season as people, especially as those who get paid monthly, contemplate three home games in September and three home games in October.

Also, this UNC game needs to be a home run logistics wise.
Keep in mind that outside of seats in temporary bleachers, the number of single game tickets for these other games isn’t going to deviate from one game to another. Depending on season ticket sales, there will be the same number of “App” & “State” side seats available. The increase season ticket sales will create the demand. Which is a good thing.

Trying to remember… Didn’t we install the “temp” bleachers before Miami (‘16), then leave them thru ‘17 (for Wake I guess), or maybe until NEZ construction was started? And does anyone know if the temporaries this year will remain and be available thru the season?

I was told no. At least in the NEZ. The Beer Garden and NEZ field level patio will be available for the rest of the season. They may address it on the Zoom call tonight.

It's been a while and I don't remember, but didn't parents get "specially priced" tickets for Parents Weekend?

strike while the iron is hot. IMO $150 is very reasonable. Wake and UM tickets were going for $100+ on the open market, and UNC is going to have more demand. Who should get that $$- the AD or scalpers?

agree on logistics, I think they will do whatever they can to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible, this game is going to get a lot of attention in the State, and we're going to have influential people who don't come to App States campus ever visit.

Taller banks of bleachers seating 2500 were put up at the beginning of the season for Miami and Wake to hide old Owens FH. There were erected at the beginning of the season and taken down after the championship games. Prior to that bleachers were put in end zones for additional seating but they weren't as tall and seated about 1500.

Give the Heels all the temp bleacher spots in the end zone near their entrance.

The height of these temp bleachers concern me, I paid too much for nez seats to have an obstructed view!

So, we have a pretty low ratio of alumni to MAF/Yosef Club members or just overall low total members compared to our peers from past posts on this forum...which impacts our FB program financially. We have a very high profile opponent coming to Boone but we want cheap ticket prices.... however we still want a top G5 program...that math does not work...
We need to be getting as much revenue as possible from this game. It all helps.
It is hard to argue your thought process but sticking it the potential purchaser of the ticket may turn the fan away not just from that game but future games. A short term financial gain could turn around and hurt even more down the road. It is a calculated risk that I hope does not go that way but it could.

No question Carolina needs to fill some holes quick. Downs is their big threat on offense. If our DL can step up with the youngsters causing havoc to their run game, it could make for an enjoyable afternoon in Boone.

New QB for Heels..need to make him uncomfortable from the first snap. Given we may not have significant depth in secondary... another reason to make their QB uncomfortable as much as possible.

I have this several times on this board and have caught some grief - Mack Brown is a great recruiter and a mediocre coach - his teams have underperformed on his 2nd UNC tour (Now I do believe he was the right hire at the right time because Fedora was a dumpster fire) - Last season from a top 10 ranking with a "Heisman type QB" (?) to end with a losing record - I just hope his downward trend continues this season - well at least through the first couple of weeks ---
