Believe me I am trying. He's a D2 coach up in PA so his time is limited. Their first game is the 11th. It doesn't look good and believe me if I need to sell they are going to someone on here.

I like it. Supply and demand economics at play. Higher price for higher demand games.

Just some information on tickets for the UNC game. If you are holding out for single game tickets for this game, you may want to consider purchasing season tickets. The cheapest tickets for retail are going to be in temporary bleachers in the End Zones and I was told that they would be $150 a piece. I understand that it seems like a waste to buy season tickets for one game, but that single game ticket is likely going to cost you the same price anyway.
Dude..I would like to live in your world. Don't forget to add in the seat cost of $400.

$250+$400 does not equal $150.

Not sure I would agree with you based on the simple fact that El Cid is the second most expensive game and the worst game on the schedule. So it isn't that the game is in demand, it is that the university has decided to up charge because it is family weekend. That particular game feels more like price gouging than supply and demand issues. I have no issues with the other prices or the policy of paying more to see better games. I just don't think that should apply to FCS teams.

Dude! The price per seat doesn’t kick in until 2023. $150 gets you into the End Zone in temp seating. Nice try.

Can't remember what the Wake 2017 single game tickets were. Miami 2016 was $60.

Literally doubling your single game ticket price high, even with the small number of single game UNC tickets, is a cash grab no matter how you spin it.

An old college athletics quote is that you can charge someone more , but it doesn't mean you should.

Demand= more people want to attend the game (parents weekend)
Supply= KBS capacity does not significantly change.
It is the essence of supply and demand.

It’s possible that these prices are to ensure that people buy season tickets.

they could charge 2 bills for the UNC game and still sell out so maybe that still applies.

My issue is mainly that I really don't see it as demand to see the game, I see it as demand for parents wanting to spend time at the event with their child . It is marketed as family weekend, so families go to the game because that is the major event of the weekend. My best guess is the majority of those are parents of freshman that have probably been away from home for the first time in their lives. I would argue that Homecoming is a better example of demand as you have alums that make sure to attend that game for that game sake and there is no increase in that game price. Again, I have no issue charging more for better opponents, I just think charging more on family weekend for a FCS opponent is taking advantage of the very people that are actively paying a bunch already for their kids to attend App. If there was any game that we weren't going to charge more, I would submit it should be the Family Weekend game.

Oh the game will sell out, no question. I just question the precedent going forward. ECU in 2023 will certainly be $150. But after that, there's no game you could logically charge that much for until UofSC, if that even happens, a decade from now.

IMO, $100 would have been fine. I think $150 might hurt later attendance in the season as people, especially as those who get paid monthly, contemplate three home games in September and three home games in October.

Also, this UNC game needs to be a home run logistics wise.

This is the only part that concerns me. I don't care what they charge for the game, people will either pay it or they won't. But to have a high price and then the embarrassment that was our concessions last year (warranted or not) would be a black eye.

Logistics were a complete embarrassment last year. I have seen no evidence to convince me it won't be the same this year. I hope I am wrong.
