That’s a great question. They don’t address the NEZ or the suites in the info. I’ve asked someone who would know. Let me find out.canes_mj wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:55 amThanks. So just to make sure I have this correct...I have 3 seats...1 in NEZ, 2 in Sec 213....all are in the $500 minimum donation range...so each year I'll have to give at least $1500 to Yosef ($500 x 3) to purchase the seats?AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:23 amIt is not a one time seat license. So you will need to look at the seating chart and see what your seat in that section is. Example, if you sit in section 111, the seat donation is $400 per. So if you normally by 2 seats per season, your yearly YC donation has to be $800 minimum. That allows you to purchase the season tickets in that section. So you would need to join YC and donate yearly, enough to purchase the number of tickets needed.

Probably not the thread but since we are talking about tickets...Did they confirm that the UNC game is on the Saturday of Labor Day or on Thurs. or Friday?

I don’t think so, but I believe some P5 games have been announced for Thursday already, so that decreases the likelihood somewhat.Appmountaineers19 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 11:47 amProbably not the thread but since we are talking about tickets...Did they confirm that the UNC game is on the Saturday of Labor Day or on Thurs. or Friday?

Are we selling NEZ tickets to those not in the Yosef Club? That seems misguided...

Nope. It requires a $500 donation to get seats. The difference is that you can buy as many seats as your bank account can afford for the $500 donation. But the seats come with a one time $1k payment per seat and a season ticket is $1k per seat.

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
I did not have to join YC to get my NEZ seats a couple of years ago. I joined YC after.... several months after.
My current invoice says $250 per season ticket and then Club amenity fee of $1500 which gets to the $1000 per ticket.
There is no other charge for YC unless somewhere else on MAF site.
Psychologically, I would rather they said tickets were the higher amount as I only used the facility for restroom breaks. That is expensive pee breaks.,

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
Is the Young Alumni donation boost still a thing? I paid maybe $1,200 last year for 4 seats including the donation. Now, I am suppose to pay $3,000 ($500 x 4 + $1K for tickets) with the per seat donation model?? I haven't made that kind of money yet. Looks like I will be watching from the couch for now on.

That’s steep. Just curious but where did you get the $500 figure x 4? The most expensive seat is $400 with several sections less than that.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 12:42 pmIs the Young Alumni donation boost still a thing? Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
I wonder if that was some sort of deferral due to CoVid capacity issues. The Premium Seating page on the MAF site states a minimum $500 donation per year is required.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 12:35 pmI did not have to join YC to get my NEZ seats a couple of years ago. Agree with you on the food. They need to work on the food pricing as well. My biggest gripe, (only one really) was $8 for soda. I get that it’s all you can drink, but I can’t drink that much.

Like when do you have to have your Yosef club donation in and choose your parking and seats by in order to get them? I’ve been a Yosef club member forever, but really want to try to buy season tickets for the first time this year.

Go to AppStateSports.com and find the article on Season Ticket Renewals. In the article, it says that individuals wishing to buy season tickets this year can do so now.CharlotteApp05 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 1:40 pmLike when do you have to have your Yosef club donation in and choose your parking and seats by in order to get them? Paste this address into your browser. https://appstatesports.com/news/2022/2/ ... today.aspx
You won’t be able to select seats until after the renewal deadline for current seat holders. For parking, you will probably be asked to provide three options for parking. It all can be a bit confusing, so I might call the ticket office to get it done by a person.
as for your Yosef donation, I believe you either have to have it paid in full by May, or be set up on an automatic draft payment plan. Hope that helps.

Could be. I did try to get tickets somewhat early as I wanted to be in the top row before the tables. I actually cannot remember.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 12:53 pmI wonder if that was some sort of deferral due to CoVid capacity issues. Yosef club donation can be spread over the course of the full year, but at least 1/2 must be paid by June 30th(I believe that's the date). Tickets can be spread out over the next 4 months in monthly payments.

I think last year was the first time the $500 donation was added on for NEZ. I know of a few who bought that were not Yosef members.

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
My main problem with these changes is anyone with more than 2 season tickets is going to have to double their donation just to keep the same seats.
For a fan base that struggles to recruit members at $5 a month, how does Yosef Club expect to grow when they are requiring to double up on the donation just to keep your seats? This immediately ostracizes a large portion of our already small amount of donors.
Yosef Club donation amounts may increase, but the membership will surely drop. Season ticket sales will also plummet in 2023. For example, people that once had 4 will either be forced to drop some of them so they can afford the increase in required donation or drop all together because they have 2 kids and they can't just leave them at home 6 Saturdays a year.
Additionally, why even require a minimum donation level for parking in JET, Holmes, University, Library deck (not roof), Legends, and HHS (could arguably add River St deck too)? Anyone with more than 2 season tickets will already be at this level. We have 19 levels of parking (with the roofs being counted separately). We are making the minimum donation level pointless for at least 6, arguably 7, of them.
If the goal is to increase revenue, this will work. If the goal is to lower the amount of Yosef Club members that are season ticket holders, this will work.
If the plan is to grow membership and season ticket sales, this is going to fail miserably.

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
Well guys it's been fun. I did renew my season tickets for 2022 and up'd my yosef club from $250 to $300 but this will be my last year. My wife was PO'd we joined another year and she enjoys the games as much as I. Unfortunately it is now out of my price range. I'll still pull hard for the black and gold but it will be from my living room in 2023. Class of '86 Appstate5 out.

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
Let me hit your 6 ticket season ticket holder form another angle.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 8:47 amThe problem that we have is people buying 6-7-8 tickets with the minimum $500 donation. I get that there are instances of families that buy a large plot of tickets to be together and for those people, I feel for them. But this is long overdue. For years we have asked people to join the YC to support athletics with little traction. Many asking the question, “What’s in it for me?” Well, that question has now been answered.
I had 3 tickets and went to 4 for 2020, which became 2021. I did this despite having my son enroll at App and move into the student section. I also upped my YC donation and upgraded my tickets.
1. I took the extra 2 tickets and gave the to a good friend of mine, who regularly attended games, but was not committed to season tickets. After a full season, they are now going to become YC members and get their own season tickets, so they can get a parking pass.
So, we have added to the YC and season tickets.
I was planning to go with 3 tickets next year, but will have to evaluate.
2. At the same time, YC downgraded me from Library Deck to Legends in 2019 and split up our tailgating crew, who buys seats together with separate donations.
After several phone calls to the Yosef Club, I was ensured that our accounts would be linked for parking. I also upgraded seats and doubled my YC donation at that time. Despite the promises, YC did not deliver again in 2021.
If YC is going to demand more out of the Fan Base, the fans should also expect more out of the YC, which we all know has been on the decline in delivering
I support App State for more reasons than realized benefits, but this needs to be more than a cash grab.
