Which would you like to do most if we didn't do both? Beat the Heels or win the conference title.

How exactly does it help with recruiting? If you mean that kids would choose us over them, then I don’t see how it makes a difference. We just lost one to SC who we recently beat. Fans want the bragging rights, kids want the rings./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:18 amI feel like beating UNC in Boone at KBS in front of likely the largest crowd would do much more for regional recruiting than beating UL possibly in Louisiana to win the Sun Belt. Obviously would love to have both happen, but if I had to pick I'd have to go with beat UNC.
I could see how recruiting could be helped. The kid in Fla or Ga. Is more aware of FSU, Miami, Fla and Cheat. They are much more nationally visible than , La or anyone else in the Sunbelt. Bragging rights aside I personally would relish beating Cheat more. HOWEVER… the answer is both.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:55 amHow exactly does it help with recruiting? More people pay attention to college football earlier in the year than they do when there are only a handful of games in December. Exposure for the program comes from these games, not conference title games. I mean each recruit thinks differently, but I'm sure the fact of even playing against UNC or in College Station in itself is appealing. Winning those games and gaining more attention I feel would be more appealing. Still would rather have both, but abiding by the options I just feel UNC would be better.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:55 amHow exactly does it help with recruiting? That’s fair. I understand your point, I don’t believed that it creates the catalyst to better recruiting./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 1:08 pmMore people pay attention to college football earlier in the year than they do when there are only a handful of games in December. You're probably right. I am tying name recognition with recruiting, which isn't always equalAppSt94 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 1:22 pmThat’s fair. Well, I don’t have specific names and I am only referencing a reputable source, but we have had a good number of players in the portal that have inquired about joining our program. So I would say that what you are wanting already exists to a certain point./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 3:07 pmYou're probably right.
