For whatever reason that I cannot say why other than gut feelings, this was a game that concerned me after LaLa and CCU when schedule came out...

If we keep our interceptions and fumbles rolling all our opponents have a chance if they can stop our zone runs, thankfully our D has been playing like a champion since Louisiana.

First half of the season we couldn’t buy a turnover, lately the flood gate has opened.

Do you mean Troy or South Alabama?

I share your concern but deep ball interceptions are not as concerning to me.

I felt that we forced the deep ball more than we should have. The intermediate passing game was very successful this week and I hope it is included more against Troy...Get the ball in Sutton & Hennigans hands and let them get yards after the catch.

Troy. When I reviewed schedule back in August before season started

Troy. When I reviewed schedule back in August before season started
Definite trap game potential.

By this time every year our offensive scheme is well known and teams scheme against it well. If Cam would cut and hit some holes on the zone runs we could extend drives and not have slow showings

I’m beginning to wonder if he is dinged up, some plays and after he doesn’t seem to have the pep in his step.

And the deep ball interception acted as a nice punt.

USA sold out to stop the run and they have a good D. Never underestimate what 4 turnovers will do to the flow of your O.

Coastal now has a 2nd conference loss. We’ve beat Coastal and Georgia State and we have a better overall record. The rest of the teams in our division have more than 2 conference losses.

So if we lose this game and beat Southern at home the next week we still win the division right?

Yep! Trap game potential. On the road. A good team with good athletes. Add that to the sloppy play we generate and this has all the ingredients of a loss.

This! USA's run defense was their strength. We kept running straight into that. When we passed, seems we threw downfield an awful lot. I think we could have marched all day throwing intermediate passes. I'm not sure why we didn't. Ponce has had a good plan most of the year, so I don't see a negative pattern. Hopefully against Troy our plan is more cohesive. I don't think we ever see Hennigan fumble twice again. That was a total anomaly. I hate it for him. On to Troy! GO APPS!

No offense to some of you fellers but this ain’t gonna be no trap game. We have rolled the last 2 opponents (check the final scores), 2 games left and the coaches and players are well aware that a win seals the East. Obviously anything can happen but nobody is gonna let it come down to stink at home. Some of you guys need to relax and stop looking for problems on this team.

Correct, App just has to win one of the last two games to make the championship game at Louisiana. App has tiebreaker over Coastal and Georgia State.

I'm mostly concerned about two things:

1. Limiting turnovers
2. Keeping our kids healthy down the stretch.

The Cajuns have an IOU with App's name on it in BIG BLACK LETTERS.
Want to see us ready to roll when we head back to the bayou.

This is an interesting matchup. Statistically speaking looks a lot like our opponent last week. Maybe a good South Alabama defense is a good warm up for a good Troy defense.

Having to travel and play at Troy is going to be tough (glad its on saturday). Troy is big and physical. We can't keep rolling the dice with penalties and turnovers.

Just like last week, will we try to impose our will or will we try to exploit what they give us....

Peoples is probably banged up a little.

I assume Harrington had a set back.

Haven't heard any update on Jolly.

We haven't heard anything on Helms.

We haven't heard if there will be anything further on Spurlin.
