Putting down Elon (putting them in their place)

I don't like runaway slaughters, but I hope we beat Elon just enough to 1. Move us up in the rankings and 2. Enough that their sorry, rinky dink, dirty azzes won't want to play us again.
They had delusions of grandeur about the equivalency of our two programs when they first moved up to I-AA in the SoCon in the Moore era. Went goose eggs record wise against us.

I'm not the only one who has a bad taste in the mouth from playing them. They thought they would dominate us and the SoCon when they came up having won three (or whatever) national championships in little boys kick ball. Banners in their stadium read...National Champions (gag).

Am I wrong?

No you’re not wrong. I hate our programs propensity to take our foot off the gas. Like at ECU it was obvious we could almost score at will but we stopped.

This should be a 70-7 type game but it won’t be

I’m not sure why, but I’d like to see us score 100 on these guys.

That was what I was trying to say and I might add, jealous and arrogant. Did I mention dirty?

I like scoring, especially on the likes of them, but it makes us like the poor sportsman and not them when they are the dirty arrogant ones.
