2019: Appeared in all 14 games, primarily as a defensive end, and made his first career start against at Georgia State … Finished the season with 28 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup … Had a tackle for loss while starting in place of an injured Elijah Diarrassouba at Georgia State and also contributed at defensive tackle when that group was short-handed, notably seeing a lot of time there in the 20-15 win at South Carolina … Made two tackles against the Gamecocks … Matched his career high of four tackles against Georgia Southern … Also contributed on several special teams units.

In regards to #97 - has been one of my favorites since his freshman year - he being from Galax is the nearest of any player to my roots in Bluefield - plus I love his play and his kick-ass attitude ---
