I'll admit, I just heard about this all star game today. It's only been around since 2016, but over 350 of their invited players have made it to the NFL.

Another player who had a standout day at practice was #AppState CB Shemar Jean-Charles (5-11, 190, Sr.).

Last season, he led the country in passes defensed (17) and was the first player from the program to be named a first-team All-American since transitioning to the FBS.

The SPIRAL Tropical Bowl is a premier FBS Division I level College Football All Star Game played in Orlando-Kissimmee, Florida annually in mid January. The SPIRAL Tropical Bowl showcases the top college football seniors to NFL scouts and GM’s who travel from around the country to the event. The weekend is focused on scouting, teaching, and football. The Inaugural 2016 game was held at FIU and spent a few years at Daytona Municipal & Deland Stadium before landing in the Orlando area with the support of Kissimmee Sports (Experience Kissimmee) in 2021. Over 350 Tropical Bowl alumni have gone on to the NFL since it's inception in 2016!

Could be. I read somewhere on social media that less than 50 players showed up and many good players who did not have a Senior Bowl invite turned down the other games. I can't blame them with all the hoops you have to jump through to play.

Players and agents who go to pay to play type games need to stop it so these games shut down or handle all expenses. Plus, nobody goes to these games completely off the NFL radar and then gets drafted because of it. The ones who do get drafted were on the radar without going.

Looks like Zac did OK.

SAw Zach post a story with an offensive mvp plaque. Can’t find stats, but I guess he did ok?

Can't find and game stats except that the score was tied 17-17 with under a minute to play.

I did find this pre-game feature that gave Zac some priceless hype in a good way!

Did they play at a high school? Soccer goal behind the goalpost. Great for Zac but did scouts even watch?
