Checked out the T Holes board too. They go 7-6 and give themselves anywhere from and A- to B+ grade. Cute how optimistic they are. 13-1, now that's a true A+. Great to be a Mountaineer.

They aren't use to winning on the gridiron like we are up on the Mountain. They did go from a 3 win season to a 7 win season. So I guess there is room for optimism. They are headed in the right direction.

The real argument this year is with Wake Forest ... them losing their bowl game solidifies App as #1 in the state no argument. Really need to beat those guys next year to remove all doubt.

Are they still trying to use the ol' angle that we had caught them on an off day and early in the season? Because one could make the argument by the way we played before that game and after that game they caught US early in the season too, lol.

Got a gamecock dating a family member. Was grateful but making a few snide remarks about the UT (TN) pull over that was given as a gift since a bunch of that part of the fam is from TN. I asked him why he wasn't wearing his dads colors. Confused he asked what I meant. I said where is the black and gold. His cock was more deflated than Brady's balls. There was no comeback because deep down they all know what happened on that field.

Where can I buy that emblem?

13-1 is an A. An A+ is if we had beaten GSU as well. I can't give us a 100 until we do that. After all, 100% means you got them all right. We did miss one week. I'm still happy with our season overall. I just wish if we are going to lose to GSU that they beat Liberty and do a much better job in their OOC.

Well an A+ means you got a 100, correct? In school I thought an A was a 93-99 and 100+ was an A+. We did lose one game. Basically we got a 98 on the season. Close to perfect but one missed question.

I don't know that I've ever seen a grading scale where A+ was only given to 100%. It would generally be the top third of a grading scale. That said, seems like the grades given for football teams (or coaches) are not intended to be a quantitative model. They are always subjective (relative to expectations or other factors). Feel free to give whatever grade you think is appropriate but debating it is pretty worthless.

Final polls aren't out, so I think we finish higher than 20.

13-1 means 12 out of 13 games won. Mathematically that's 92.3%. Rounded that's 92% and on a college honors weighting scale it's a 4.7 out of a possible 5.0. Using the 10 point scale anything 90 and above is an "A". I prefer to take that as it is and accept that 13-1 is better than any school in the Carolinas except Clemson and the best record of the G5 schools.

Well in school an A+ means you got them all right. We did have the one miss. That is my thought process for why I did not give an A+. An A is nothing to complain about. It was a fantastic season.

I do think you grade someone based on what you expected and for me the bar was 13-1. Anything better would be a huge surprise and I would be disappointed with anything less. Plus, UNC and SC were not very good. Had we played teams like Texas A&M and Florida or Notre Dame, Wisconsin, etc types then I would have fully expected 3 losses.

Which is pretty much how I was looking at it. A team has to win every game to get an A+.

So this is what we argue about when there is 200+ days till kickoff
