What a ride the past two weeks. So proud of this program right now! Great quote by Clark!

You know all the haters from UNCC were watching and praying that we fell on our face. Well Forty Whiners, we didn't! I can't wait to destroy them in Boone next year.

Can anyone tell me how large our crowd was?

My guess would be 3500 to 4500. But, it was loud and involved for the whole game. We definitely had at least 50% more than MTSU.
The SuperDome has great lighting, the sound system is perfect and the acoustics are great for such a big building (the BOD sounded great).
If we make it back, we should double our crowd. It's an outstanding bowl trip.

Why do we care what uncc thinks? Until they field a competitive program, they are irrelevant, and so is C-USA, based on how they’ve fared against the sun belt and in bowl games in recent years. We have a culture and national respect. They have the lightrail and a FCS coach

Exactly. They are looking for attention and we should not give them any. They have not earned it. However, it is hard to look away sometimes with the amount of hate that they spew.app97 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 1:04 pmWhy do we care what uncc thinks? Back to last night. I think the performance by the players and staff should give outsiders some insight to the core values of this program. Another great display on a national stage!

“That just shows how much App State means to everybody,” Stout said. “It’s just special up there on that mountain.”
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Last night was another big middle finger to all things CUSA. To think they could have had us. Hope they enjoy their big market teams with few fans and fewer bowl victories. At least S. Miss and UAB were lucky enough to run and hide from us, but hey, any place any time.

If I could play violin, I'd play for 2.5 seconds for them.
Welcome to Boone next year. You think this season's can of whoop a@@ was bad, wait until we get you at The Rock.
