He can’t stay for the effing bowl game? What kind of conditioning is Louisville doing days before Christmas break? This one is ridiculous and really pisses me off.
I knew he was going, but I really thought he would stay for bowl game. He is a great motivator on the sideline.
Hope he shows up in NO

He has plenty to do at his new job. Brad will take over for him through the bowl

He is the best hire App State has made in the last 5 years. We must find another like him.

I know this kind of exodus is par for the course when there's coaching turnover, and I know that DG is fully capable of replacing our lost leadership - but holy hell is it hard to stay positive right now.

Mike Kent was blamed for Florida’s downturn under mcelwin. Really got in over his head there. Hopefully there was an observant assistant that knows sigrianos program we can promote ASAP

The guy is a master self-marketer who knows what to say, when to say it, and to whom. He is/was very important to the team, and a great motivator. There is no doubt about it. However, he has been shopping himself since the first year he got to Boone, and has been a constant wrecking ball within the athletics department.

I agree that he will not be easily replaced. I agree that he was integral to the development of the football team. But internally... I guarantee people are not crying about him leaving.

I hope he has continued success. He is someone else's problem now.

Will anyone be left to coach the team? Stay tuned to find out on the next episode of App State football.

Guys. Don't be surprised if we get someone better than Mike this go around. Anthony Glass has a wealth of contacts that would jump at the chance to work with him again. This one is the easiest to replace of all.

I feel like the guy who got dumped on prom night. And the dude who took my girl asked if he could borrow my car to take her "home." I have no knowledge of the internal issues he caused, but I always thought his contribution to this team was underestimated. However, the importance of this hire can not be!

Anthony Glass is the biggest hire in App History from a pedigree stand point. I have full faith he will have input with whoever the new coach is and bring in a quality coach.

The best S&C hire we've made in the last five years is still on the staff; Anthony Glass.

I'm not too concerned about this departure.

100% agree, Mike seemed like a great cheerleader and a slightly above average strength coach. Was unimpressed with the strength/weight gains of our linemen during his tenure.
