I just heard that, too... not seeing it on The Athletic as they said, but they sounded sure about it. Anyone finding another source?

1.2 million for 6 years. 8 mill buyout.

I would have thought at least 2 million and it seems a little odd to have a buyout more than the contract's total. Wish him nothing but the best though. He's done us proud!

This was a troll twitter post, and isn't true. I fell for it at first as well. I still believe he's gone, but it will be for more than that.

$1.2m per year?? Doesn’t he make about $800k here right now? Hard to imagine hitting any real incentive bonuses there for a few years. That can’t be an accurate number.

I’m listening to WFNZ too.... I think they are just behind on all of the Satt talk due to the dumpster fire that is Carolina Panther football. Bailey is just pulling last night and this morning’s headlines to the forefront. No new updates from what I have been checking across the net other than the speculation posts....although, the speculation is getting more detailed.

Can't find anything concrete yet but the noise is getting louder. If it proves to be true, just hope that DG can find us another great coach because the team next year will be loaded.

If he was ONLY offered 1.2 mill then his response would be Thanks, but no thanks.

Per Ethan, Doug Gillin hasn't heard about Satt being hired.

He’s been quoted that he’s not worried about the offers till the bowl game is over with than he will “explore” his offers... we have two weeks to speculate unless those quotes I’ve seen are fake I don’t see why we are working ourselves up for!!

Unless I missed it, he is quoted saying he wasn't worried about offers until the Conference Championship game was over, which is now over. I don't think any school is waiting 2 more weeks before they let a candidate decide. I could have missed it, but I think you got the game wrong.

I have to eat a little crow on the pay, thought it would be more. If what you guys are saying, that's bottom of ACC, his agent does suck for going to a dumpster fire for that little, but it was up to him. Thought he'd get closer to $3M. Hope he doesn't pull a Sparky, and strip our roster.
