Early: possible replacements?

I know we don't want SS to lsave, but if it does, who would you guys say we can realistically get? I'll kick it off and piss off some Gnatsboro fans: Nate Woody HC and bring back Sloan from the stink if Brown goes with SS

Nah, I'd rather have Brown over Woody. I feel like it may be a higher risk but a much higher reward. Apparently Brown is already on the radar for some big schools as a potential DC. He's becoming a prominent name quick.
Basically, give it to Brown.

The only way Brown doesn't go with SS is if he goes to GT with Woody

Also seeing speculation on Twitter that Houston has abrubtky changed from accepted UNCC to Interested and Offered. Wonder if this has anything to do with it.

I feel like he'd take App State HC over Louisville DC. Could very well be wrong, but that defense seems to love him. I think he'd embrace the chance to be the HC. I hope at least. I do think we're kind of a niche job. I'm going to want someone that's been a part of successful App State staffs. GaSo went with an outsider when Fritz left and it screwed them over. They replaced Summers with a GaSo guy and he got them winning again quick. Not saying we're the exact same, but idk. I'd want to go with someone who knows the program and knows what makes us special.

Haven't thought about it. Don't want Satterfield to leave, don't want him to need to be replaced. Historical game this weekend and we have numerous threads most of which are filled with fake news about Satterfield's next move.

Keep burying your head in the sand. Whether we like it or not this is something that needs to be talked about, and I guarantee the athletics department is doing the same.

Bring Jerry Moore back out of retirement. It is the thing to do these days.

Brown may be a great HC, but he has only 1 year experience as DC. Not sure that qualifies him to be next HC.

No one is burying their head in the sand and denying the inevitable. Why is it that you have accepted him leaving a foregone conclusion and any other thought or feeling is worthy of nothing more than dismissive? Grow up and learn to discuss thoughts that counter yours instead of labeling them.

Guarawnteee you Brown would take the DC at Louisville than HC at APP. 1,000,000 plus reasons.

Would you leave your current job for 3-4x your salary without batting an eye? If you say no, you're either foolish or a liar.

If Satt leaves, he should hire Lunsford as OC and Sloan as DC.

No I would not do it without careful consideration of my family. But those are apples and oranges comparisons. We aren't talking $50k to $200K. He is already making well above the average Joe. I have teenage kids just like Satt and I know that they would not be in favor of a move at this point. I have also had a situation where it was relocate or be layed off. I chose relocation and it didn't work. So there is something to be said for personal happiness. Think what you want about me but I am neither a fool nor a liar.
