A very diplomatic article. The officiating reminded me of the days back in the SoCon. I had hoped to never go back there.

I agree to a point but many of the penalties were stupidly committed and a couple of the holding calls were simply too easy to call. Can't blame all the motion penalties on the officials either.

I would like an explanation of the no call on the "halo rule" on Duck's fumbled punt catch. It appeared the GS guy had his arm right in Duck's face inches from his eyes....is that not considered catch interference these days????

For whatever it’s worth, I have a good friend who has friend that officiates SunBelt games and SEC games. He went to see my friend this morning and told him that was the “C” team tonight... they shouldn’t have been assigned to that game. They missed several calls, like the Duck fumble, he said there is a Halo rule and they missed that and the interference call with the GASO player. He also said GASO several times cut-block our defense linemen and did not call one of those. They did not determine the winner but be fair.
