I don't really understand why the temp bleachers couldn't be taken down in a matter of a week at season's end. Props on the beer garden though! I'll stop by on my way in!

Sorry Saint. I just don't agree about the "demand" based explanation. Our attendance last year more than justified the temp seats that bring KBS up to 24K. Everyone wants to include the bank in our seating decision but the bank is a terrible view of the game and should be considered overflow ONLY. Just my opinion of course.
Maybe they are expecting this season's attendance to be down because of no P5 games in Boone, but I feel like this is a mistake.

The window for optimal construction days in the Boone winters are limited. The week to dismantle the bleachers cuts into that. It's going to look empty after the last few years with temp bleachers. Seems like they could put something in that spot that wouldn't require a week's worth of tear down.
One idea is to have temporary field level suites like they had at the Camellia Bowl. See link below...

Most games the past 2 seasons sans Miami, Wake and family days have been very barren in half the end zone seating and parts of the State side.
I agree with the move to have all of the fans in the stand and especially the band taking over the "excess" student section.

There will be hospitality tents in the north end zone. I agree with the move DG made with regards to the temp bleachers. Besides we needed to rent them to UNCC for twice as much so we can have a place to sit at Kidd Brewer South. Lol

I've never questioned DG in the past. Won't do it now. He knows what he's doing. Don't want to sit on the hill because the view suck? Pay a little more for regular seats on the east or west side. That's like me sitting in coach and upset that I don't have the same luxury as someone in first class. You get what you pay for when it comes to general admission.

Guys DG is a business man. If demand was there with season ticket sales comparing to prior seasons they’d be there this year.
Without the P5 games average attendance is less than 22k. Homecoming and family day will be full. Gwebb and Troy after thanksgiving will be under 20k.
Seems like a good business decision.

I know nothing about beer. Am a mixed drink lover. That is until I became a diabetic. So will the imbibers have to stay in the beer garden until they finish like BB games?

The band will be under our seats and in the past when the band has been on the East side we could not hear them. Hopefully there will be some way to project the sound to the upper level of the East side. I too believe DG is one of the best AD’s in football. Just don’t want him to leave anytime soon!

Demand is sky high for club level and suites. There’s a long waiting list. Those are the people with the $$$ too. When rich people want to give you their money, you find a way to accept their money. DG knows what he’s doing.
One silver lining to not having the temp EZ seating is the App State chant. The EZ seating always seems to screw that up.
