Is there any relationship between when we play and the selection gods? We played a week earlier last year... this year if we played much later we would be bumping into games with the top 25 teams. We got more respect this time around??

I don't think so. For SBC bowls it's pretty much who the bowls think will sell the most tickets and there's a choosing order by the bowls but it's pretty much about the benjamins. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...like I have to ask for that on this board!

That's true, I shouldn't leave ULL out of the loop when we're talking about ULL.

To be totally correct -- I guess they did know when kickoff was. They just weren't aware there was another 59 minutes to play.
