Good luck to you guys in the playoffs! Wish we could have held up our end of the bargain and met you guys down the road this year. Was a tough season, a lot of "what ifs, and coulda beens", but I truly believe we will be back in the thick of things in 2013.
Really looking forward to seeing you guys in Missoula next year. Feel free to PM me as the game gets closer if you have any questions, egriz.com and AGS are also great resources.
Again, goodluck in the playoffs, Griz Nation is rooting for you!

Thanks, Griz fan. Looking forward to a trip to Missoula next year. But first, playoffs. My expectations are not great, but my hopes are high!

Was rooting hard for you guys vs Montana State last Saturday! I still remember how their players and coach handled themselves when they came to Boone for their playoff whooping....

Takes a class act fan to post congrats and best wishes on another teams site. But, that is all I have seen from Montana U. Just first class fans, first class people. I also can not wait for my road trip to Montana next year. Already planning with great anticipation. Hoping we play each other twice next season once in Montana, then again in Texas. Let the Grizz roam wide and far in 2013.

As soon as Montana State was talked about for playoff seeding I was thinking about the wide receiver on MSU that kept turning to the ASU crowd during warm-ups and making gestures and such back when we hosted them. Then the ensuing beat-down. I wonder what every happened to that young man. I was thinking I heard something where he was in trouble the next year, but maybe I am making that part up.

If I'm not mistaken their coach then Kramer was just fired again from Idaho State or somewhere ---

I believe that young man was Marcus LeBlanc. He also failed the post game drug test administered by the NCAA.

Marcosis LeBlanc. I only remember that because his name sounds like and STD. He was a Safety i believe and his taunting pre-game was directed towards the group in the student section I was in. My fondest memory of that game is chanting "5 sucks" at the end of the game and all he could do was just stare at us.
I also seem to remember hearing that he tried to start a fight during the post-game drug testing as well

Didn't they have some huge sting that extended from California to Montana and involved a bunch of the MT State players?

My memory was off a little. It was not the next year, it was the next hour. Sad. I wonder what happens to students like this. Did he lose his scholly? Stay in school?

Lose his scholly? That's the least of his problems. I would bet he's still in jail.

Thanks gah-riz! You got a great program there. Great state too!, I love visiting the big sky country, it is beautiful. The People there are great too! The Griz are one of the top programs in our FCS, just had a lot of close games this year. Good luck next year Griz!

gah-riz, my family and I are coming next year. Planning to spend a week seeing Montana. Montana and App State are special; we have a lot more in common than we have differences, which makes us great rivals, each having great respect for the other. You guys "graced" our campus this year, and I hope we can do the same for you next year. Go App!

Do you go to jail for failing an NCAA drug test? I would assume not everything on the NCAA banned list is illegal, and if illegal would it lead to jail time. I just don't know. If he was not selling in the locker room would it be a 3-4 year sentence.
I was assuming he was caught on roids (is that illegal, I did not think it was) or with HTC in his blood. I would think HTC would not lead to 3-4 years in jail.

I believe he was caught up in a lot more than just a failed NCAA drug test.

No need for the preaching. I seem to recall that this MSU goober was found to have participated in some sort of gang activity which included murder. As I recall, this was discovered within a few months of that game. Hence my comments about jail.
Even without knowing that, this idiot (who played the game in complete black-face) behaved like a thug during the game. I have never disliked a player more.
