The helmets we have now have grown on me and I like. If I were to add change something....I would like to see us add the new old school yosef on one side and keep the current block A on the other and have opposite logos like Florida.

Idea is not to copy but showcase both logos most of us are proud of.

Your thoughts welcome.....what say you?

I think that we should should use Yosef more. The Block A is awesome, but folks sill confuse it with Army and a host of other schools that begin with an A.

The Yosef head really stands out and is all our own. There really isn't anybody who has logo that it is confused with. It is and can be instantly recognizable like Clemson's Tiger Paw, Florida's Gator, Texas' Longhorn, Boise's Bronco head, Michigan State's Spartan head, and Wichita State's Shocker.

White block A for more than just the white out.

Yeah I could get use to bringing back the white A too.

I like the idea of one on each side.

Buy the rights to the ESPN Yosef and use it, oversized, on the helmets as an alternate.

I am personally not a fan of the non-matching helmet logos. I just prefer symmetry, so those never look right to me. Would be fine with featuring Yosef on an alternate helmet though.

I like the American flag for Hero's day, definitely keep that one!
Black Saturday should definitely have the Black A
1 home game the players choose anything they want (black, yellow, white, gray, chrome, faux leather)
All the other games should be Black helmets with a White A
Bowl game = if we're home All Black, if we're away the white sure looked good this weekend.

I was hoping for an oversized Yosef on the white helment for the bowl game after seeing we were going with the white ones.

I'm a fan of the Yosef. I also really really like the white helmets and think the black block A looks good on it.

I'm not a fan of the white helmets at all. Black is by far the best one, the gold (yellow?) is good but how about a black "A" on that one?

As far as the espn Yosef we are the only people on the planet who know what it is much less who it is.

Agree. I hate the two-logo thing. It feels schizophrenic. Also, while I love the old school logo for its nostalgic value, the block A is our stronger brand.
That was cemented when it was splashed all over everything including the SI cover after the Michigan game. The slight Army confusion is just that-slight. When I'm wearing my App gear, I might get an Army mention once in two blue moons and only at a distance, but most everybody instantly recognizes it for who we are.

White block A is nice. Yosef could go on alternates I guess. I know this is sacrilege, but I liked Yosef better as a throwback than as an official logo.

I saw a few photos posted by some graduating seniors posing on the field with a matte black helmet, yellow Yosef logo, and then chrome gold face mask.

Old school gold helmet for the Wake game. Black Yosef outline on sides. I remember back in the day when we played them both team colors and uniforms almost identical. Throw back colors for Wake game

A few years ago, there was a picture of uniforms and helmets laid out on a table. I wouldn't mind seeing the state emblem in black with a white block A on the white helmet.
