GaSo Game: Tailgating?
I know this is looking ahead a bit, but we've got a group heading to the game in the Stink on 10/27. Never been to a game there, so I don't know what to expect in terms of logistics. (I know we're to prepare for typical Igglet behavior, but other than that, we know nothing about where to park/tailgate/etc.)
We'll be coming from Savannah and would like to tailgate for a while before the game. Anyone have experience with tailgating in Statesboro? Bonus points if it's been for a Thursday night game. Is anyone planning on being at the game? We'd love to meet up with some other Mountaineers.

We tailgated at a car wash that is directly across from the field. It was pretty nice actually. You'll want to get there early.
If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.

If you are truly prepared for typical Igglet behavior, then you don't need to worry about where to park & tailgate.
The alums & staff are fine; it's the students who are rude & obnoxious. Just look for other App tents & park close by.

That's a great spot sounds like. After the game you can wash the filth off your car before you leave that god forsaken place!DaphneUrquhart wrote:We tailgated at a car wash that is directly across from the field. It was pretty nice actually. You'll want to get there early.

My wife and I are tentatively planning a trip to Statesboro. She has never been and I am a little afraid to take her even though I think that I can hold my own with any of the igglet fans wanting to rumble. I'm getting too old for this stuff.

Are you sure you want to consume food there? I would keep it in a sealed container and then set up a sealed bubble to eat inside of.

Who said food? We can opt for a liquid dinner of the sort that'll kill off even Stinkboro's germs.
All except the DD. And we'll keep him in a hermetically sealed container until the clock reads 0:00.

A single friend of mine recently moved to Statesboro and since he didn't know anyone to date he went to Statesboro eharmony to sign up.....and it automatically took him to ancestry.com.

Figured this was as good a time as any to bring this back.

I will be there with Big C and others.
Georgia law is lenient upon those who drink and walk around.
Stay away from the students if you can, the alums are fine.
