Every time this game rolls around, I still say, "GA State has a football team?"... Indeed they do.... I'm not knocking them, until we got into the "Funbelt" who knew?...

That aside... Hell of a barn burner last week and good things are back in play with, and for, our guys.

This Saturday will prove to be APP-TACULAR in the weather department. Fall temps? You got them and plenty of sunshine is on the menu. A few clouds will be in and out, no rain, and this will be one of those Fall football Saturday's we all relish to have during football season. So, if you've been on the fence about going to the game, do yourself a favor and GO!. Noon kicks, while not great for the "flat landers", allow you to be back home by 6 or 7 PM and grilling away; I was after Miami... (some hooch was had to sooth the pain of that one).

THE WX BREAK DOWN:

6 AM: Mostly clear and chilly - upper 40s

8 AM: Mostly sunny and chilly - upper 40s

10 AM: Mostly sunny and cool - mid 50s

KICKOFF: Mostly sunny & cool - Upper 50s

HALFTIME: Mostly sunny & mild - mid 60s

END OF GAME: Mostly sunny & mild - mid 60s.

Should be a heck of a great day to watch APP STATE PLAY!

Great weather. Wished I could make it this weekend, still trying to sell my tickets, way too many not going this week.

Break out the sweatshirts! It's finally fall!

Too bad we can't get those indoor Georgia boys a little Boone snow / ice / slush. As I recall, they didn't fare too well in that sort of weather on their first visit.

If you have about 4 minutes or so, this is definitely worth a watch.

I only made it till halftime of that one. Wife and mother in law said it was time to go when sleet pellets started going sideways.

Georgia State was beaten before they took the field.

Some people looked at me funny when walking to class in shorts and boots in the snow. Classrooms were 105 degrees though.
