I have to say, I didn't think we'd win today but did with a lot of guts, 0 INT's for #12, and a few good breaks along with a defense that got better down the stretch. Very proud of the whole TEAM and COACHES. Now we are in a RING game next week.... Wow, just WOW!!!

First ever road win against a #1 and it couldn't happen at a better place. Shout-out to Burns who took over in the 4th Q! Way to stuff the middle!

There is a discussion on the Georgia Southern MB, by their fans, that a large group waited for the officials to leave their locker room and hassled them all the way to the van. As the van began driving away, they were beating on the windows, harassing the officials, etc. Can anyone who was down there confirm this?

I'm very surprised we won today. Pile my CROW extra high! The planets really aligned for APP today.

In the post game Randy Jackson made me laugh by mentioning the GNATS were really bothering everyone, too funny!

I was there. I didn't see this, but I wouldn't doubt it. They were PISSED and convinced the refs screwed them. It got ugly near the end between the students and the ASU section.

From the replay on ESPN - check the boxscore for our game and they have around 25 video highlights you can watch without ESPN3 - it looked pretty much like a safety to me. On the other hand, it also looked like a helmet to helmet hit by the defender on JJ which would have wiped out the safety.

Even if that was a safety, it was a 3 point game in the end.

But, how sweet was the next play?

It looked to me like the call could have gone either way. The refs called it the way I initially saw it, but it would have been hard to argue with a safety. That being said, the initial contact by the GSU defender was made before JJ stepped back into the endzone and the second contact is what brought him down. I think the call was that the contact drove him backwards. We probably caught a break here because I think he would have stepped back on his own, but we lucked out and the defender hit him first.

I imagine that the GSU fans feel very similar after this game, to the way I felt after the Wofford / App game.

Sorry for the slow response....but while at the game...listening to their postgame talk show....they commented that there had been some kind of violence with the officials and some students....and to their credit was saying that it should not have happened.
