Going to be hard to win out when we are a one dimensional offense. So long as we can run the ball we are ok but when we have to pass, we are in trouble. I could see us losing more games this year.

Our receivers should have more success against G5 corners but Lamb also needs to get the ball to them.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I find Taylor to be atrocious under center. He's a mediocre scrambler and an FCS quality passer. And, if be willing to give him a pass as an upper class man/captain if it meant he was cool and collected when the going got tough. But the reality is he wilts worse than anyone else on the field when the pressure was on. He missed easy passes today when we needed them and he blew open the Clemson game last year with back to back INT's when our defense was playing extraordinary.

I'm not questioning his character nor who he is as a person. By all accounts he is a good man and a true Mountaineer. I believe he gives his all. I just don't think he's good enough.

In all honesty I thought we performed better on Offense against Miami's Starters than we did last year against Clemson's starters before they took them out. Last season turned out pretty ok, if I remember correctly.

I would really like to see AJ Howard focus on his tackling this season. Aside from the very obvious first missed tackle that led to the big 80yd TD run for Miami, he also had another very bad miss along the sidelines on one of the long bombs from Kaaya. In both cases, he seemingly launched his body with absolutely no wrapping, and just bounced off the Miami player like a ping pong ball. Form tackling is your friend.
