Re: Miami Game Tickets
Well if anyone has 1 GA ticket they're willing to sell, I just need 1 more . . .

We're trying to finalize our numbers, but it is likely we will have an available GA ticket. I'll let you know when we know for sure.MtnDevil95 wrote:Well if anyone has 1 GA ticket they're willing to sell, I just need 1 more . . .

Re: Miami Game Tickets
Anyone think to look for tickets through Miami's ticket office? Wonder if they are sold out.

Re: Miami Game Tickets
I checked a few weeks ago, but they required a membership in their booster club to buy any road game tickets. Don't know if that will remain the case or if they would either do a public sale or return any unsold tickets to App (if any exist).NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote:Anyone think to look for tickets through Miami's ticket office? Re: Miami Game Tickets
I'm not sure what the point of the points system is, if the day you could buy tickets was based on how much you gave this year. A person who gave $1500 this year was "in line" before and could get more tickets than someone who has given $1000 a year for twenty years.GOAPPS37 wrote:I do not want to sound heartless, but I have trouble believing that you cannot afford a $100 donation to the Yosef club which comes to a $8.33 pledge per month. If you were able to swing this amount, you would have been able to order last Friday. My biggest pet peeve is that many of my friends who tailgate with me and who are supposedly avid App State football fans making the trip to Boone for every home football game soaking up the Game Day experience, but yet are not members of the Yosef Club. I just don't get it. Maybe purchasing the two Miami tickets for $120 put a dent in your budget for this year and if so, I only ask that you try to set aside $100 next year to join the Yosef Club. You will begin accumulating points and you will not regret being a member. I signed my son up when he enrolled as a freshman. He is now a senior and has accumulated points for three years and has reaped some perks being a member. I would recommend all parents taking their son or daughter to Boone in two weeks who are beginning their freshman year to do the same and enroll them in the Student Yosef Club.vegattk wrote:Wasn't able to afford Yosef this year... I agree. As long as you are a current Yosef Club member the priority should be based on total points not how much you gave this year.appgrad95&97 wrote:I'm not sure what the point of the points system is, if the day you could buy tickets was based on how much you gave this year. Re: Miami Game Tickets
But, that person who has been giving $1000 for twenty years still get their seats, and their parking pass the same it has always been all along. They don't know if they have been jumped in line, and frankly, don't care if they have been jumped. That only becomes a problem if 500 people jump them in line, and we don't have that commitment right now from our Yosef members.

Re: Miami Game Tickets
Ticket office told me that Miami actually wanted more tickets than what we were offering. I don't think they're having any issues selling their allotment.

One article said they sold out their 2,500 tickets (due to many season ticket holders having summer homes in NC).

That is not surprising.biggie wrote:One article said they sold out their 2,500 tickets (due to many season ticket holders having summer homes in NC).
Everyone be nice to the out-of-staters spending money in North Carolina. 2,500 people is not chump change with the various taxes they will pay.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Great. A bunch of old folks who drive around 20 miles under the speed limit with their signal on.biggie wrote:One article said they sold out their 2,500 tickets (due to many season ticket holders having summer homes in NC).

I worked at Eseeola for two seasons while in college...Trips to work on 105 were very painful.biggie wrote:This is the worst thing about FL people in Boone.AppinVA wrote:Great. Yes...I used to play after work for I think just a $10 cart fee (Employee discount)...No telling how many of the Eseeola members were finding my golf balls in their back yards.MDaniels84 wrote:Nice golf course at Eseeola Lodge (Linville Golf Club)./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote:I worked at Eseeola for two seasons while in college...Trips to work on 105 were very painful.biggie wrote:This is the worst thing about FL people in Boone.AppinVA wrote:Great.
