We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I have a hunch we'll see this young man wearing the Black & Gold. Ditto for Torry Clayton.AppState89 wrote:He would be a GREAT pick up if we can get him. I believe he will start as a freshman. Re: Recruiting, 2013
Two Guys that I played with in high school at Southern Alamance in Graham, NC will be up for an official visit on Black Saturday. Jonathon Lloyd and Dairyon Matkins. Both are only Juniors so they are in the class of 2014. Jonathon may be out of our league with 11 FBS verbal offers already but he comes from a great and very appreciative family so I would not count him out just yet. He is projected as a 4 star athlete I believe. He boasts at least a 4.0 GPA if not above that. In middle school, he was awarded the top camper at the Ohio State football camp. Ohio State is one of the 11 to offer and he is a lifelong Ohio State fan but from what I know he is not counting anyone out. We want him at QB which is a position that only one of the FBS school said they would possibly look at him as. He would like to play QB so this is a positive beside our name. In high school he has played QB, RB, DB, and WR. Dairyon is more likely to come here if offered. He has played LB, DB, and RB in high school but is more than likely going to be an OLB or DB in college. He was always an aggressive player that didn't quit on anything. I do not have video of Dairyon however here are links to Jonathon's sophomore and freshman year highlights. Let's hope for the best! Go Apps!

Could be a good recruit for football and baseball. He is as tough as the article says he is.

Re: Recruiting, 2013
Scout.com has added a late-bloomer to the list of players App State is interested in or vice versa: QB Bryan Bailey (6-1, 170) of Woodruff High School in Woodruff, S.C.
Bailey transferred to Woodruff from Byrnes in the summer, sat the bench during the early part of the season, then lately put up video game-type numbers -- 597 passing yards and 8 TDs last week in a loss and 444 passing yards and 4 TDs six weeks ago. He's a lefthander who wears No. 14.

Re: Recruiting, 2013
Glad to see the staff going after another QB in Bailey. They definitely need to secure a QB (or 2) to up the competition for 2nd string next season. Looking down the road, ASU will most likely be lining up with an inexperienced/zero experienced QB when they walk into Ann Arbor come 2014.

Everyone should pray for a 17 average or a 68 cumulative on an ACT that was taken Saturday during the Western game.....There is a difference maker taking that test!
Please!
Before anyone jumps on this being a low score....you do not know the whole story and may never! But this kid deserves a break!
...and the second he qualifies, there is an offer!
