Did anyone listen to postgame interview on the radio? He’s really feeling himself. Proud of him and the team for how they have turned it around at the end of this year. Let’s take care of GS and keep this momentum going!!!

I did and liked to hear him get his swagger back.

His teams seem to show up in “bigger” games. Next step in his evolution is consistency and his teams doing the little things right down the line.

That is non-responsive to my question. In another thread you said not winning the conference or at least the east is not good enough. Will that apply every season? And if so, must the coach go?

How many times did we not play in Sun Belt championship game before Clark minus the years we weren’t eligible? That is the standard.

3 Bowl appearances in 4 seasons gets you 6 million a year in the P5's; at Appy it's not good enough.

The facts are that we very well may win the East next week and play in the championship game at Troy. I would hardly call that just another team. We just beat a top 20 undefeated team on their field and snap a 13 game winning streak for them, that isn't the doings of just another team.

We win next week and JMU beats CCU and we will once again play for the title. So by your own definition Clark will have met the standard. Again, hardly just another team.

This is true. Let’s see if it happens. Would be great to see since it’s been a long drought after winning 4 in a row.

I have been the biggest Clark critic all season. However, since the Marshall game, this is the "piss and vinegar," gritty, "chip on their shoulder" App that I have watched. Dang good effort by everybody this afternoon!

After ODU, I wasn’t sure we’d win again, but hell of a call to change the Defensive philosophy - obviously not working- to one that is allowing us to be streaking in W column.

Why is it so hard to say there were very legitimate questions about the job Clark did last year and the first eight games this season AND give him credit for the turn around over the last three games?

I'm more than happy to admit when I'm wrong and I'll always eat a helping of crow when it's on the plate in front of me, so here I am:

I'm really happy with the turnaround I've seen out of this team and coaching staff. I was a big critic of Clark earlier this season and a big advocate of his removal, but if we can finish out the season with a win over undefeated JMU and then take down GS the next week, I'm happy to admit I was wrong and that he's doing good things. Let's just not have another rough start to the season, okay? That's all I ask!
