How many portal players who come to Boone will be there more than 1 season? It’s not even worth learning their names anymore.

Another way to look at it, could be that those will be the highest impact players. Either proven FCS starters with 1 year left or guys who ball out and move up again.

I think we’ve seen that you have to have multiple guys capable of leading the backfield at any moment in college. At least 3 that you feel really good about. Lewis got nicked against Marshall and Ark State I believe so the odds of him going 12+ games would seem low.

Plus it can never hurt to get guys if they have protection skills at RB. I’d hope we prioritize the areas that help make a QB great rather than banking our hope on a great QB

Over 4500 guys. Should be able to find some!

It does appear we are primarily shooting for players at the FCS levels and below. It also appears that we are targeting several who are at some schools not in the region who have ties to the region.
