TD may just be leveraging his remaining eligibility into a graduate degree as he is probably not going to be playing at the next level. That would seem logical for his personal future if it were the plan.

He is likely going to go play for dad as a walk on at Oklahoma. Get closer to family. Can't blame him.

Hate to see TD leaving. Whatever his motive (degree or family) I wish him well. He was an impact player and will be missed.

big loss for us, good luck to him. Kind of funny that he'll have played in four! conferences in his career.

If he goes to Sooners...can probably transition to grad assistant role after playing. Looks good to have Oklahoma on your resume if coaching is his post college desire. Good luck to him. He has been a baller.

TD had a breakout year at App, no question we will miss him.

The transfer portal giveth and the transfer portal taketh away. It’s the nature of college football now, and it feels like the business world where individuals do everything they can to move up the company ladder. Wish you well TD.

Could be he is just testing the waters, he can always chose to come back to APP if all agree.

My boy needs to update that 2016 mug shot before he does anything else.

I like TD. He did a very good job at App. I don't know his personal reasons are but trust they are in his best interest. He is somewhat of a journeyman at the college level but he gave his all while here. I appreciate that and in some regards earned some rights of claiming to be an App Man should he want to call himself one. I wish him the best going forward. I hate to see him go.

He and father are both journeymen. He gave his ALL while at App and wish him the best!

I'm very glad that his dad moved on from North Carolina State to be our Defensive Coordinator as the lowest paid coach on staff during drinks year here. For the life of me I don't understand why Drink didn't take him with him to Missouri he sure could have used him. And further seems like Roof would have rather stayed here then taking the Vanderbilt job when it was extremely likely that the head coach would be fired there. Who knows but I'm glad both Roofs were Mountaineers.

I think three of his four stops are the same place his dad was coaching. (That assumes he winds up at OK).
