We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. Yeah, UNCC at noon on ESPN2.

Only change was moving Ark St to Thursday.
So much for "Homecoming"...though we all knew it was pretty much a lost cause in any form resembling normalcy.

Maybe they switch homecoming to a later game on a Saturday in hopes it is better? Doubt it would help though.

Homecoming and just regular home games probably wouldn't have been the same anyway. The extra TV games should (I don't know for sure) bring in more money, which will help our ailing budget.

Now here's where it gets interesting. As the season progresses, and if we keep winning, there's a chance we may be flirting with a Top 10 ranking. If so, there's a good chance more games get moved to better days and time slots. Since we don't have any P5 games on the schedule, maybe not, but if we keep winning, and become relevant in the Top 10 voting, who knows?

Keep Climbing!

4 of our first 6 will be on ESPN or ESPN2...that's a good thing

Depending on how the season is going, we could pick up some Saturday TV games that will be decided by the networks later in the year.

With our schedule it may be hard to go up in rankings very much though. Especially with ULLLLLLL as the first conf game.

Hope that UL beats Iowa St. That will give them cred and put something on our schedule to help our SOS.

We do need decisive wins this year, and as someone said above....we need UL to have a good OOC showing as well so that they have some cred coming into our game.

So beating the crap out of UNCC and having them beat UNC and Duke is probably our best shot at moving up in the rankings. Can you guys pull for UNCC?

Sure I can pull for them under those conditions, but it is just not going to happen.

I have a hard time pulling for GaSo, even if it helps us. That what a rival will do to logical thinking. It makes one irrational.

Pulling for UNCC would be a hard thing to do. If I knew it could guarantee us a NYE bowl then I could do it. Otherwise it would be hard to be honest.

With no P5s on the schedule its going to be nearly impossible for us to be ranked/move up to grab an NYE bowl if somehow we do get ranked.

Of course, in the revised rankings we are ranked.

I doubt they keep it close, but I'll be pulling for Charlotte in those games....especially against UNC.

Sure hope we concentrate on beating The Gnats since they've taken the last 2 and put a damper on the seasons.

obviously I want us to beat GS as often as possible. But I will always take a loss to them if it means we win the conference and a bowl game. (not that it is mutually exclusive, just making a point)
